....Its simple.
If people that have accepted God into thier hearts they will continue with him in Heaven...Therefore people that follow God will be with him..
[QUOTE="ghostadv"]Although I'm an atheist (or a guy who doesn't give a crap on any religous beliefs), I'll still offer my two cents.
If mankind goes away, God goes away, because without us, no one will believe he exists cuz no one will be around.
RLgun
Goes where? So in order for god to exist humans must exist, and vise versa?
No god = no humans
No humans = no god
This is solid proof that god does not exist. He only exists in people's minds.
True dat
This guy is right, and further more, CHARLES DARWIN ADMITTED that the eye is so complex, that it would seem EXTRAORDINARILY unlikely that evolution to create it. Further more, If evolution exists (which i dont doubt it does, im just giving another point of view) its an overkill. Man doesnt need to be able to... i dont know... be able to conduct an orchestra and remember all of mozarts symphonies in order to survive... Another point is, if you place some chocolate infront of a child and FIRMLY TELL HIM 'dont you eat that' most likely, the boy will NOT eat it... This defeats the object of evolution, because evolution says that we WOULD take the chocolate, no matter how firmly the child is told... Further more, if you use the theory of chaos, it makes no sence that atoms would form together in order to make the big bang, this makes no sense, AND FURTHER MORE, Engergy is never created or destroyed, just transfered. How does NOTHING CREATE enough energy to cause a giagantic explosion? just somethign to think aboutStumpt25
1. Who cares about Darwin? He's credited for starting the theory of evolution, not refining it. He didn't even believe in sexual selection, a process which we now know occurs often in many species.
2. Man's intelligence is a direct evolutionary trait. He has to be able to memorize skills and information in order to know where the best food is and how to get it with only a stick. Music is just one way we have applied these traits to other things.
3. If the boy is hungry, he will take it. Unless he has been specifically taught NOT to take it, in which case the evolutionary advantage of advanced intelligence comes into play again.
4. I'm not going to bother with the rest, read up on the Big Bang Theory.
In the case of human extinction what is to become of god? If he does exist? What will he do without humans? Or any living thing? Think about this.RLgun
Why do you assume he would 'let' us become extinct?

Free will?
What has chioce got to do with anything? If he saved us from desctruction that wouldn't be affecting our free will. In the same way, if I saved someone from being run over by a bus, that wouldn't be affecting theirs.

Saving someone from being run under a bus isn't affecting free will? Then why doesn't he?[QUOTE="RLgun"]In the case of human extinction what is to become of god? If he does exist? Those who believe in god (i'm a muslim btw) will go to heaven, and those who don't will go to hell. simple.
OOOooh it's so simple, I always tought chosing your believes required some tought but I guess now I should become a muslim. Thanks.

Apparently what he had to say was so important that he couldn't hold it in anymore. :P

there is more life in the universe besides us.. but i guess if you are christian you think we are the only ones... and when you say "god" it means a million different things which god are you referring too?

If a person jumped in front of a bus in a suicide attempt and another person interfered with their choice and saved them against their wishes, would that not be affecting their free will? I fail to see how that would be considered true freedom of choice.

Not as long as we don't get whatever we want whenever we want. What is with this work thing where people tell me to do things all the time, anyway?!If a person jumped in front of a bus in a suicide attempt and another person interfered with their choice and saved them against their wishes, would that not be affecting their free will?
