In my opinion, the first thing that I would do is to get myself a Suica card or something...
@LauriAJ: for me,there's a lot to do...but being an otaku in Tokyo (especially in Akihabara or Ota) isn't a bad start, and time traveling Kyoto after that...or even better culinary expedition in the country...gotta love them raw dishes straight from the sea
Eat copious amounts of sushi. But since I can do that here I'll probably never go.
What if I tell you that they got hot Asian girls over there, you would still go?
I see hot women everywhere. I don't need to spend thousands to fly to Japan to do that.
Visit the countryside and the more traditional/suburban regions of the country. I'll go to Akihabara and other popular attractions to complete my Japan experience, but I doubt I'd spend much time there. Second on my list is to thoroughly experience the Japanese cuisine from its most traditional sources. Third on my list is to visit the Japanese seaside.
Find the nearest restaurant cuz after that flight Ima be hungry as ****....
They probably serve ass **** there, maybe in a soup. Let us know how it taste, lol ..

Find a nice Japanese girl, settle down with her and live the rest of my days in a compacted garden under a blossoming cherry tree reading the Guardian.
@korvus YOu got me laughing out loud at the office, my co-workers think i'm nuts, lol .. AF soup, lmao !
I'm pretty sure you misquoted since I haven't even posted in this thread yet XD
Anyway, as for the topic at hand I'd probably go eat some awesome sushi and then find a GO place and spend an afternoon there getting my ass kicked because I suck at that game.

What about seeing a culture that is different to yours? Do you have no interest in that?

Not really.
Head to Haneda Airport and fly north to Aomori or Hokkaido. I'd probably spend most of my time at the Lake Towada area. I can't stand the urban areas of the Kanto Plain.
I also have a friend at the Aomori area. So, no need to stay at a hotel or something.
Actually, I'd probably stay at a hotel overnight first. Every time I visited Japan, I always stayed at the Haneda Excel Inn which is right at the airport.
I would ask my Asian gf to go with me and show me the fooood...
EAT EAT EAT... next year probably... ^^
I hope its as good as Hong Kong food and street food... yum yum.
Walk around and take in the sights. In Japan you are in one of the safest countries in the world because they have banned most gun ownership, so why not take the opportunity to walk around knowing that you never have to worry about some nut job with a gun?

I think you need some psychological help. You have a very unhealthy fixation on guns.

The typical American family.
But it's me that has an unhealthy fixation with guns.
Ahuh...

Seeing as you can't prove that it's the typical American family, that only reinforces my point.
You really do have a weird obsession with guns. I own guns and I don't even talk about them nearly as much as you do. Nor do they consume my life as much as they seem to do with yours.
Get help.
