Yes it is. After all these average computer animated films, I can safely say I prefer good old-fashioned cartoon animation.

I personally prefer the South Park movie, not only is it the funniest movie I have ever seen but it's also the best musical.

I thought it was the best movie of any type ever made when I first watched it. Then I discovered anime (not even mentioning the Coen brothers, Scorsese et al.). It's still my favourite Disney movie, though.

I would say Spirited Away is the best animated movie of all time,and I think the fine raters at IMDb agree with me...

i respect most people's honest difference in opinion, but honetly imo...it is the best animated movie ever that i've seen.
the music coupled with the way the scenes were directed (as well as the acting) made the movie something unseen previously.  Jeremy Irons as Scar was great too.  My personal fav animated movie ever...and i think best done as well.  still great to this day.

From perfect voice acting to excellent sound effects, the best animated movie ever IMO.

The amount of morals lion king possess's is huge, it teaches kids about death, and the background music for some of the parts capture the emotion for the moment.

Scar was simply an excellent antagonist with the best voice acting for his part.

The Lion King is definitely one of the greatest animated movies of all time. I'd put it up there with Spirited Away and The Iron Giant.

You're my hero. Waking Life was one of the worst movies I ever sat through. The art st yle wore off about five minutes in leaving me to contend both with the obnoxious wavering images and the masturbatory stream of stoner ramblings. No wonder it's been $5 in bargain bins for years.

I never really got what made Spirited Away the great hit it was. It was decent IMO, but different strokes I guess. I would take Lion King over it any time of the week. The nostalgia I have for that film is immense, as with Aladdin too.
