The Mars Volta.....

Been listening to a bit of the Mars Volta recently. Which would be the best album to get?

The Bedlam in Goliath

Get De-loused, Frances the Mute, Amputechture is optional, as is Bedlam. Octahedron is pretty good to.

But IMO

Must Get: De-loused, Frances

Great: Amputechture, Octahedron

Alright: Bedlam

The Bedlam in Goliath

De-Loused in the Comatorium is the only one i have and it is really good.

What's so special about this band?

After the 4th listen, Deloused is really great. It took me a while to get into.

Frances is great, too, but I haven't been able to get into it yet.
