Excuse me, Princess!

Does anyone remember The Legend Of Zelda Cartoon? I have. Well, what about Link's infamous catchphrase? It's like Homer Simpson from "The Simpsons" saying "D'OH!" all the time. It's probably funny, but quite annoying & old at the same time.

At least he doesn't say that at all throughout Captain N (Both Link & Zelda appeared in at least 4 episodes of the second season). They are "The Trojan Dragon," "Having A Ball," "Once Upon A Time Machine," & "Quest For The Potion Of Power." Just Google them or type them on Youtube's search bar & you'll find videos for those.

Both Link & Zelda have matured on there, too. A LOT apart from the LOZ 13 episode cartoon. This could serve as punishment for those that get on my nerves, LOL.

I'm pretty sure Naruto's 'Believe it!' would rule out all other phrases in this thread.

I remember X-play would always mention when Naruto or what ever his name was said "Believe it" all the time.

That's not really a catchphrase - Luffy only uses it when it's somewhat relevant. "I'm hungry" is more of his catchphrase. ...does "Pikachu" count as a catchphrase? If so, that's my vote.

Can the Link cartoons be classified as anime? If it can I agree with you. Still, the difference between "Excuse me, princess!" and "d'oh" is that Homer does it well, Link makes his catchphrase sound like nails on a chalkboard.

He only says that when someone asks him.

Luffy is not intelligent enough to have a catchphrase. The most common thing he says is: I'm hungry or I'm going to kick your ass.

But yes the phrase was annoying because the One Piece 4kids (God I hate 4kids) dub is extremely horrible and is the worst anime dub in the history of mankind.

On Topic:

Believe it! is the most annoying catchphrase. Mainly because the VA for naruto had a whiny voice.

Yep. I prefer the original Japanese version of most animes with English subtitles a lot better than dubs. There are some very atrocious dubs (Sailor Moon & One Piece comes to mind; probably Yu-Gi-Oh! too), there are some okay dubs, & there are some excellent dubs ( such as Yu Yu Hakusho, Inuyasha, Cowboy Bebop). But nothing tops better than the original Japanese versions.

"Believe it!" was the most annoying ever, while "Dattebayo" and "-ebayo" are the most outrageously awesome ever.

Seriously, that is the stupidest stuff I ever heard of. :P

Don't know if this counts, but the high pitch screaming from shy or younger female characters is annoying as hell.

I think the Fullmetal Alchemist dub is on par with the original japanese. Also, sometimes both are bad. I didn't like Japanese or English for Elfen Lied.
