Either Chillwave or Witch House.
Or anything by Animal Collective.

54 32nd notes per bar? Is that actually intended to be played by anyone or anything? No human could play those notes. A machine could I guess, but if it did, no human could hear the sound of it due to the pitch requirements.
The other piece I found by him was this one:

There were 65536th notes, 32768th notes, 16384th notes... actually, there were a range of 1/(2^(0..16)) notes.Given that the progression being pictured would require a pitch of almost 15000 Hz, which is far beyond the range that the human ear can hear, I have a hard time believing it can actually be called music and not a visual art piece (or ... parody).

Bingo. :P
So what's that piece even used for? Ego-stroking? :?It's used for looking at it and laughing because it is funny.
I hate you for saying that, because he totally does. Now everytime I listen to some of Immortal's older albums I won't think of anything but that. Dammit.[QUOTE="dracula_16"]
EDIT: Indeed, he would. Immortal's vocalist used to sound a lot like Popeye, so I bet Popeye would be great at black metal.
Bluestorm-Kalas
Hmm... I had never thought of this but it's true.

No lie it made me laugh.
Avant Garde Metal. Its so insane. Like Mirrothrone and Diablo Swing Orchestradeimos113If Diablo Swing Orchestra is around the same level as Mirrorthrone, I can safely say that classical music trumps them in terms of complexity. And I looooooove Diablos Swing Orchestra.
I would say Dubstep It has that transformer doing a crap style sound effect in some songs (too crazy for me) then theres chilled dubstep then theres budstep I don't even think its confined to any genre, dubstep can overlap with everything and anything bassline in my nostrils makes me ****
pop, its the highest grossing and most difficult genre to break into.
feel free to think your music is complex, but being able to make a pop beat is easily the most difficult task and highest paying for musicians.
true. in a way pop is one of the hardest genres to do.pop, its the highest grossing and most difficult genre to break into.

No, not really. The beat is just easier to notice because they are not sophisicated. This is more complexed: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHESjItTd-Q&feature=relatedpop, its the highest grossing and most difficult genre to break into.

Something tells me I'd be able to produce a quality "pop beat" quicker than I'll be able to master my own territory of composition.pop, its the highest grossing and most difficult genre to break into.

Not sure what's more incredible: the talent put behind this song, or the fact the lyrics aren't screaming offensive content.[QUOTE="markinthedark"]

If you could create catchy hooks for the next justin bieber album... you should go for it... im sure there is a record exec willing to pay you multiple millions of dollars to do so. Go collect that paycheck!
This. Aphex twin, for sure. Though Aphex Twin isn't a genre, I'll say trance. Most techno seems to be the simple dun,ss,dun,ss,dun,ss,dun,ss, beat, but most trance, like Aphex Twin and Infected Mushroom is extremely complicated and amazing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1dqQtBw-foAphex Twin.
THE_DRUGGIE
^^^ This song is by Aphex Twin. He played with the audio spectrum in a way that when you watch it as the song is playing, it actually draws pictures. At the end, 5:30 , he actually found a way to get HIS FACE into the audio spectrum.
That is amazing. Because normally to do that, it would just be random noises and tones to make a decent looking picture. But he managed to do it while keeping the song sounding good.
