Oh many too many too name...Are you talking whole sale slaughter? Mass Murders? Serial Killers? Conquerors? Idealists (Terrorists) doing it the wrong way?...there's so many Sub Categories...Honestly...I have to group them...I see the Catholic Church as #1...inqustions,crusades, and all out brutal ways of killing and torturing put them ahead in my mind (Throwing Protestnants out windows, promsing peace to Calvinist Villages then slaughtering all inside) Followed up in close secound by Stalin, then Hitler There's tons more...as a people the Romans killed tons through Conquest, Mongols, Timur the Great's Empire, Persians, Assyrians. Basiclly ever ancient Empire except Egyptians (quite peaceful), Aztecs killed tons and also brutally sacrificed people. Oh man there's so many more...go on wikipedia and look up aggresion it should have examples..most of them are by the Church but...oh well.

Well, it's impossible to say. Hitler may have killed many people, but who's to say someone else wouldn't have killed more had they had the power Hitler had? So, such a judgment can't be made.

Not what I said. I said, I don't believe in an evil. My only true morality is emotional empathy. If I shoot a kitten in the face I'd feel bad, if I shoot a cow I would too, or a human. Although I DO understand why they did it, but I didn't agree with it. I don't NOT kill people because of how right it is, but because I feel bad. In other words, I'm being selfishly altruistic, like most people. Why will we eat a cow but not a dog(Maybe you will, but most people in most civilized areas won't)? Because the dog has our empathy, we don't view it as EVIL, but we have brought them in like family and thus feel empathy for them. It's not because a dog is 10x better than a cow, but because of empathy. And why would I empathize Hitler He didn't have anything bad happen to him... He died form a gunshot to the head mixed with Potassium or Sodium cyanide and was powerful and many many other things. The man didn't have a hard life. I'd rather empathize with his victims.

I guess that's basically how it's all categorized, just levels of empathy, very little empathy/sympathy = evi.

ahh ok i guess we feel differently about the word evil then because when i think evil, i think of someone/thing that has hurt the things i care about. Im a more single minded person and see things in black and white. So therefore in my mind Hitler=evil
