I went away with family a few years back and I trod on something, didnt know what it was, didnt find anything in my foot but thought it was ok. About a week later I went to the theme park and my foot was hurting like hell. On New Years Eve there was a massive brown spot on the bottom of my foot. My aunty, being a nurse iced it then pressed some tweezers into it. But nothing. I spend the first seconds of the new year bawling my eyes out, I had family coming into my room saying "Happy New Year"
The next day my mum took me to the hospital since nothing else was open. I had an xray and there was no metal in it, so they laid me on a bed and got my mum to hold me down. They got needles and everything else possible to poke and prod at and dug a huge hole in my foot. I remember screaming my head off and doctors and nurses walking in to see what was wrong. After that I was on crutches for a week and could not put any pressure on my foot either because of the massive hole :(
The worst pain I've experienced (and continue to experience) is not really pain at all. But it may as well be, because it's every bit as distracting and uncomfortable. Most people have an affliction of some sort and mine is tinnitus.
Running and jumping into mid air followed by landing very awkwardly and twisting my ankle HARD. It felt like I was gonna pass out for a second or two... it healed fine on its own though after a few weeks lol :P
I think it was this one time i was using this heat cream stuff. It's like lotion that has a heating sensation and it relieves pain or something. Well anyways its all over my hands and me not even thinking i had an itch on my eye.... and i rubbed it. "OH ****!" I was instantly in pain my eye felt like it was shot with a flamethrower. I had to turn cold water in the sink and get a wash cloth and soak it and drip the water into my eye or else i was in horrible pain. I was running around like a maniac screaming. Pacing back and forth. This went on for a few hours.
