'After I had my wisdom teeth removed my gums got infected and when the dentist was cleaning he didn't use any local anesthetic and I could feel the huge needle goign into my gums. They had to tie me to the chair.'
Ouch!
[QUOTE="shyskillz"]Ouch :( How did it happen?getting shot in the elbow. the bullet is still lodged in the joint and sometimes bothers me when the weather changes rapidly. the Dr. said it will be risky taking it out but i've manage and gotten used to it.

years ago hanging around the wrong crowd. i was on my way to work (night shift) stop to talk to a few guys i know then a drive by came from no where.... i was the lucky one.
Well I once was on an inflatable slide.
I managed to jump from the top to the bottom the slide (quite a big drop); landed on my backside.
In this same instant, this sent my legs upward to such an angle and at such speed, that I successfully managed to kick myself in the ribs.
Although it didn't break my ribs, I was unable to breath for a few minutes afterwards. Quite severe bruising for a few weeks afterwards.
I also managed to get hit full on in the face with a cricket bat once.
And I have hit my small toes against chairs, walls, desks and the like on a frequent basis.
I'm actually one of the few lucky people who have never broken a bone.

Good it was only your elbow then, but still bad luck being hit.liver stone... 2 days in a row... and on another occasion.
First time I woke up in the middle of the night with an undescribable pain on the center-right side of my stomach area... 10 minutes later I was crawling to my parents' bedroom crying like a baby telling them to get me to the ER now or call an ambulance... IT was a 15 minutes ride to the hospital and I honestly thought I was dying, the pain was just so intense, when the nurse asked me to rate it I said 13/10. I've spent 8 hours in the ER before I saw a doctor who told me "well, you ain't hurting right now, so can't do anything about it, go home".
Next day I waited 6:30 in the waiting room at the same ER, once again the pain went away before I saw the doctor... he gave me Dilaudid (basically morphine) and told me to take some if the pain came back... had an appointment with a gastrologist, who said it most probably was liver stones, but couldn't be sure...
then about a month later I had the same pain, had to take those pills 3 times and slept all day because of them.
Never occured again after that though...
I almost cut a few fingers off once. Long story but it was with a skinning knife. Expose bone in my right fore and middle finger and slashed up a bunch of tendons and stuff in the rest.
You wouldn't believe how white your bone is.
7 hours in surgery, a bunch of rehab, and nearly 12 years later and I hardly even notice it (although I don't have a lot of feeling in a couple of fingers.
Wow that sucks, I've never really had anything that painful happen to me before :)liver stone... 2 days in a row... and on another occasion.

Come to think about it I think I might have had one  I was gunna post in my last reply how I had similar symptoms about severe pains at night trying to get to sleep though he said he was crying on the floor, it hurt really really badly but it wasn't THAT bad... and then (I can't really remember if it was the day after) but I went the toilet and the pain was unbelievable, I couldn't walk, my thingy was stinging and aching really badly and I phoned my mum and said "uhh it hurts really bad after I just went the toilet" and I got a day off school 8) never really thought much about it though it seems to fit the symptoms of a kidney stone.kidney stone.

Went to a party on the last day of school, hit in the balls by a basket ball, this guys foot, a hunk of wood, and punched there twice...all by the same guy. I wanted to beat him but
A) he was HUGE. Hes a guy I know...very big...mostly fat...no muscle...but I didn't want to be sat on.
B) Couldn't get kicked out. The girl I like was there. And I got a hug from her. :)

Broke my leg in two places while slipping on a tile floor. Note to kids, never run on wet tile floors. You can slip easily.Yagr_Zero
lawlz, tibula and fibula.
New main goal in life: avoiding kidney stones.
Anyway, for me it was when I fell down a slippery subway escalator in Munich and tore a quad muscle. I walked with a crutch for a week or two afterwards and endured a couple months of physical therapy back in the States.I got modded for saying what it was, last time one of these came around so I'll just settle for breaking my wristDivergeUnifyHeh, I wonder if it was anything like what happened to an old roommate of mine, who snapped a tendon in his groin while having sex with his gf. He said it wasn't painful but when he told me about it after the fact, I could feel the blood draining out of my face in sympathy cringes.
Getting a cavity filling without freezing my mouth.
Basically my dentist gave me a shot of anesthetic, but it didnt work well. i couldve asked for more, but I was parked in 1 hour parking and my appt was late, so I only had 15 mins left. So I told her I was ok. :P Well, she kept giving me this look, because my knuckles were white and I was tearing a lot. It hurt like hell, especially when the drill cut thru to the core of my tooth.
But i didnt get a ticket. :P
