What sounded like a mundane and stupid idea actually looks very promising. It's now in my movie hype list :)
Do you agree? :o

I think it looks awful and have no interest in seeing it.Dman0017It took you about 40 seconds to write that comment.... did you see the 2 minute 30 second trailer? I actually trust David Fincher in making a good movie due to the fact that he is a very talented director. :)

I'll be seeing it. David Fincher's track record has been, uh, hit and miss to say the least. It's rumored that it's going to be three hours long, which I can't imagine. How in the hell do you sell a three hour facebook film? I still think it looks uninteresting, but we'll see.

I would prefer that if David Fincher made it it would be similar to Se7en, but given the source material I do not think that is possible.[QUOTE="Dman0017"]I think it looks awful and have no interest in seeing it.MrEnvelope
Almost 2500 views and still no comment; I think that says it all.

Another dude posted the video on the same day (July 15) and got almost 215,000 views, 603 likes, and 59 dislikes. Your comment is irrelevant. :)
A film about Facebook...wow.
The_Gaming_Baby
I knew it was inevitable. Facebook is a staple of pop culture that is literally changing society and the way we communicate with each other.
The only reason I'll see it is because David Fincher is directing and Trent Reznor is doing the music.

I didn't leave a comment... O.oI did... Cough cough. :P
That trailer confirmed why I don't like Facebook and destroyed one of my all-time favorite songs simultaneously.

This film feels very self masturbatory, it's like Mark Zuckerberg decided that his life was interesting enough to have a film made of it, which quite frankly it isn't...Im_singleI believe that he isn't really affiliated with this film or involved with the production.

hes quoted on saying he wish they didnt make a film about him till after he was dead.
i think it looks somewhat interesting in my opinion. i didnt realize how much drama there was in its history.

Being that the movie paints him in a negative light and that they have blocked the movie from being advertised on Facebook, I'm pretty sure he's less than thrilled.

What? And all this time I thought they were a one hit wonder like Chumbawumba :PWell, the fact that it was scripted by Aaron Sorkin helps in my eyes, but I still can't imagine me seeing thisI'll be seeing it. Electioneering, Subterranean Homesick Alien, and the title track in The Bends, and the whole Kid A album just to name a few.Trent Reznor says the movie is really good, and he usually hates everything. He did the soundtrack for it though so he probably has to say that. :PNinja-HippoWell the fact that he accepted making the soundtrack should say something.:)

In fact, they don't like the song. Johnny's thickly distorted guitar parts were his attempt to destroy it.
