Then, please explain why the latest releases from The Thermals and Marked Men arn't pushing millions right up next to Fall Out Boy's? There are plenty of pop punk bands that arn't popular, and there's no way to deny that unless you change the meaning of pop punk to "popular bands with punk influences," which is wrong.

The Clash was not corporate when they were starting out. They became established because unlike most punk bands they were talented.  FYI...they are not around anymore.
