It would be nice if you could elaborate as to why it was a bad movie.

I thought that the acting was bad. They could have made it better by choosing better actors and I thought the setting was lame. Beast looked very terrible. The story just would have been better if it wasn't set during the founding of xmen.

I thought the first was okay and the second set up some nice potential for continuation, at least that's what I remember them like.

and then the third came along and took a crap on the first two.

I've been hearing good things about it from quite a few sources, it looks pretty good, especially for a superhero movie. I think I'll like it more than Thor, Green Lantern or Captain America.

I totally disagree with you. The acting was good. This is a lot better than X-men Origins Wolverine and X-men 3. Although I'm not sure if this is a reboot or a prequel. I guess its a reboot that starts in the very beginning. Pretty good. Better than Thor and Iron Man 2.

The acting was fine and the actors all fit their parts well.

The setting was absolutely perfect for this origin story and it was also great seeing the formation of the X-Men.

Seriously, this movie is the best X-Men movie to date. The story was great, the character developement was great, and the action was awesome. Magneto's protrayel in particular was excellent. That scene in the bar totally cemented how badass he is. The whole developement of the relationship between Xavier and Magneto was great to see.

The movie was simply fantastic and I really don't see where this hate is coming from TC.

I definitely recommend anyone interested in the X-Men go see this movie.

Ya....no. It was actually really good. I won't spoil anything, but the cameo was awesome too!
