i am all for piratical vaccines, doing it just to do it against illnesses that are a non-issue is a whole other thing. do you think people need to be immunized against other random weaponised micro-organisms that have killed less than a half a person a year?

Hey, the Bush administration was just concerned that the step up from small amounts of poorly milled anthrax in the mail to a nationwide attack was clearly a small step. I mean, yeah, one day it's in the mail, and the next you have an army cropdusting encysted anthrax from the sky!!! Oh... so it's actually an advisory board to Health and Human Services called the NBSB, which hasn't actually offered a decision at all yet. Sooooo... the entire premise of this thread is actually a load of bull ****, and this has about as much to do with what WILL happen and Obama as cheese does with the moon. Great... well... this has been a rich and fulfilling discussion. What I find troubling is that this vaccine program was started under Bush I, then killed (for TROOPS) because it was too dangerous for too little benefit, then rekindled under Bush II. In that time and since, 27 years... no body existed to even make a recommendation to the Sec. HHS as to the wisdom of knowing what this vaccine would do to children. In fact, the only reason this is being reviewed at all, instead of the vaccine remaining stockpiled and perhaps used in a panic (thus doing god-knows-what to the kids it would be given to) is the result of a bill (The Pandemic and All-Hazards Preparedness Act) that wasn't passed and signed into law until 2006!

That was exactly my point! Damned Obama and his risk taking! Soon we'll be eating genetically engineered vegetables!

Actually I just don't think this is that big of a deal. I'd gladly take an anthrax vaccine, and yes, I'd give it to my children. That would end all of the risk we'd be taking while participating in our weekly barn dances and cowside picnics!

be happy your not a aprt of the 1200(as of 05 based on las vegas sun i can get the source if you like) people with serious medical side effects of that innoculation.. more troops got shot up since then (basically anyone whos been to iraq). so lets take an estimate

1200 X 6= 7200 people with serious adverse side effects since it started getting passed out and thats probably conservative considering their have been alot more troops put into iraq vs when you started in 2005

The vaccinations aren't mandatory military wide anymore though. That and several injunctions since 2005 means fewer people were likely given it compared to pre-2005.

There's open minded, and then there' s "pie eyed lunatic". I'm a skeptic, so I'll examine any claim, but I've long since heard dozens of iterations of your conspiracy theories... they're actually far older than you think and consistently lack evidence. Not only do they lack in the evidence department, but as we've seen in other threads views held by folks like you are often internally contradictory. On one hand you believe in vast and complex conspiracies to explain events which can be far more easily explained by pedestrian means. On the other hand you're a solipsist, so basically you think the universe is your own paranoid fantasy.
