Friends? You're joking, right? If so, that's 10x funnier than any joke on Friends.
Arrested Development is superior, and the British version of the Office is also superior to the American version, assuming that's what you're talking about.
Arrested Development is probably the best sitcom ever. The writing is ridiculously clever. Almost every joke has more than one meaning and they are almost all related. The writers could take simple ideas like the stair car and the blue man group and got tons and tons of jokes out of them. If the show was on abc or nbc it would probably still be on the air today, though I don't know how long the writers could have kept it being awesome. Its better than cheers, seinfeld, curb your enthusiasm, the larry sanders show, frasier, spin city, night court, married with children, friends, everybody loves raymond, ....
the UK office is better i think, they stretch out the U.S version way to long, the U.K office ended at a good time so it would not become monotonous. Also Extras is better than both:D

Haha I've only gotten to see a few epiodes. I should watch it. Lots of people say its good and even better than the office :P I doubt anything can top the Office but, I'll give Arrested Development a try.

i hope it comes back on tv someday, it was pretty much my favorite show for ages. I agree its better than the offfice, but i prefer some of the older british sitcoms:P
