My opinion is as follows: the 300 is going to be the best movie ever, it will win every oscar, including the short film and foreign language ones, and that this movie will make you blind and give you seizures from awesomeness overload. Discuss.
I was dreaming that i skipped the afternoon on friday to go and see 300, i didn't see the weekend or anything in my dream though, so i walk into class on monday and my teacher asks me 'why were you gone on friday?' i replied with 'i went to see a movie', she then said that was a stupid reason to skip school. I then yelled 'IT WAS A SPARTA REASON!' and kicked her in the stomach, she then fell over a desk. That was a dream I had the day before last.
I saw it, and while I certainly wouldn't classify it as the best movie ever, it was very entertaining.
My only real complaint was that I thought some of the dialogue was kind of cheesy. The visuals were excellent though, and it's definitely at blood and guts movie.
300 looks like it has a lot of unecessary image enhancments and CGI and obscures the real life look of the scenes, or atleast this is true on the comercials, im not really into that but i bet it still will kick ass regardless.
We were quoting 300 at work just the other day (I work at McDonald's), and whenever someone else asked "What is this?" or something like that, we would say "THIS IS SPARTA!!!!" and would kick the person next to us. :lol:
