The one thing you hate/hated most about high school...What is/was it?

The waking up. Last semester of senior year I had 2 morning spares, so I didn't have to go to class until 1:00 p.m. I actually didn't mind school then. Near the end of the year, I only had one class a day because my AP classes finished up so it got even better,

my first high school was pretty fun, i knew everybody and was friends with most and we hung out afterschool...best times of my life. Currently i am a senior at a new high school as i moved last year and joined as a junior...it's as boring, and tedious as hell. The only thing that still keeps me going is the fact that i know i will be able to meet a couple people(almost literally) that are at least somewhat decent and friendly

I had a horrible high school experience. I was surrounded by pretentious douchebags, the teachers were mean, had no friends, people thought they were better than you, no understanding of anyone different than them, some incredibly difficult classes, and a load of depression/anxiety.the_plan_man

I had the same experience. People treated me like **** in high school. And in the end I didn't even graduate high school. What makes me really sad about it though is that it seems I wasted 12 precious years of my life, 12 precious years that will never come back.

I hate going to bed early. My mom always scolded me about playing games.:?

incredibly boring assigned books, makes it even worse when you've gotta write an essay and you can barely get passed chapter 3 because it's so booooring!!

Socially I did fine, made some great friends. I'm definitely loving the freedom of college more though

Lol at the guys who think there's nothing wrong with any of the highschools. You really should have tried to be in one of the Emirate Islamic international schools i was in. And see how great it feels taking an Islam religion class as an Athiest.

Uniforms. I fricking hate uniforms. I don't want to look like everyone else but it was either that high school or extremely trashy ones(not that my high shcool didn't have those kinds of people in it. It did but not to that same extenet as the other ones in my city).

Probably the whole pointlessness of it. I never really felt like I achieved anything. The people at my HS are pretty cool though. Theres nothing bad about, but nothing good either.

Nah. I've known great people during my time in school, they were about as popular as a pubic hair in an omlette. Its about your identity.

Whoever says having a "good" personality is the key to a good time at school is a complete idiot.

The key to having a good time at school is to conform with the majority (which is made up of ignorant d***s) and not to have a personality of your own, because that would make you different, and therefore bad. The popular people consist of:

The leaders (vain & ignorant pieces of s***)

The Mindless zombies who followed them because they are too weak and afraid to have a personality.

i hated uni, waste of time your ability to reference your work properly was more important than your ability to write a correct answer, doing a disertation was awful, 10k words of utterBS 5k words answering the question

It exists. I hated everything about high school. I wish i could pull an eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and delete all memories of my highschool experience from my brain.

Not sure, but looking back the one thing that pisses me off is how useless it was. I've learned more in a few youtube videos than I did in an entire year of high school.

but i disagree entirely that you have to conform with the majority,the idea that youlike certain sport or a certain type of music or certain tv shows just to fit in couldnt be further from the truth at my school, same with them all being ignorant d*cks, but we had no leaders in my year, it was a good group and IMO groups only work if everyone can add something different to it so again i completely disagree that they are all mindless zombies

i dont see why so many see people who are popular and enjoy school in such a way

Probably because many people on here have been picked on by those kids in particular.

i find it ironic that the guy is criticising someone for suggesting that people who hate school lack personalities before launching a tirade against kids that are popular tarring them all with the same brush...

The one thing I hate about it? That "everyone around me is stupid, I just make lower grades because I don't try" mentality. So many peers consider themselves intellectuals off the singular fact that they don't try hard enough. I mean, I get not trying your hardest. We've all done that. But to be pretentious enough to assume everyone else who fails is an idiot and you're just lazy? That's the one thing I hate.

The racism (towards other races as well as whites), the cultural/cl@ss clashing, and really really really hot freshman and lesbians that are off limits...

But the student's also, I went to a new school, punched some girl in the face cause she didn't like me and talked sh*t about me behind my back for no reason (lol she ran away crying..) then her boyfriend punched me like3 times!!! I was like wtf dude!! I was so confused...the security showed up, knowing he punched me, and didn't do anything about it!!...I was like Did anyone just notice the aGUY just punched me in the face?!? (since obviously there were many people around by then)

And then someone's like "that's a girl"...And I started laughing soooo much, That was the most fat butch lesbian I have ever seen in my life...That was quite a day...lol still laugh about it. and she/he didn't know how to punch at all.
