You should learn more about Nazism when you compare it to Nationalism. He used Nationalism because of the way the Germans were treated, and because of their great depression. There was a reason he got the German people to act the way they did so in his favor - they needed a leader like him to help them. Had he not become a dictator and been such an EVIL person, he probably would have been considered a great leader. But, he was a brutal facist, so that probably isn't going to be such an easy thing to believe.

On the subject of the Patriot act - it's not necessarily a bad thing, because if you're not doing anything wrong then there's no reason to fear it. Hardly anyone knows what the Patriot act really is, so maybe before you talk about it you should look up some FACTUAL evidence about it? In fact, this "they're listening to telephones" is BS, because that part is just them being able to listen to your voicemails under a search warrant instead of having to go into your house and listen to them on your phone (which is how it was before). Also, they can only wiretap you under search warrant. Look it up, though there's a hell of a lot more to it.

The reason the controversy is there is because search warrants now are not based on where, or who; just under probable cause.

Humans are naturally evil, greedy, power-hungry, etc., etc. It'll only be a matter of time before an evil person rises to power in this hypothetical world, and then everybody is screwed. Besides, it will be nearly impossible to attain. Ethnicity, culture, and patriotism is a very large part of society and getting everyone to agree to a single nation will be impossible. i posted that video merely as a response to what could happen there was a single government to govern the world. i knowit's justanother conspriacy theory but it's just some food for thought on just how things can spin out of control and i don't really agree on some parts of the video because a lot of their accusations aren't sourced. i totally agree with you as well, but dang man, things like the "Patriot Act" can get people mighty paranoid....

Rightfully so, but it's not leading anywhere right now. Once things like the NAFTA actually get PUT INTO EFFECT, then the people will start fighting.

According the PATRIOT act I'm a terrorist...because I have cannabis. I could be arrested and locked away forever without ever even knowing why.

There is too much gray area in the PATRIOT act so it has a lot of potential to be abused.

Let's put the shoe on the other foot for a minute. Let's say that the PATRIOT act stays in effect and Hillary is elected. Do you trust Hillary to use the PATRIOT act responsibly? What about the person after her?

I think every person who approved that bill needs to be impeached and kept out of any position of power, because they are either a complete idiot or someone who wishes to abuse power; both are things I am very much against.

If I ever got arrested I would demand my rights up and down and if they went against them I would try andfind a way to kill at least one person involved in my capture.

You forget that the average US citizen is so completely ignorant and stupid when it comes to politics that they would buy and BS reason given. If people were politically conscious, there would have been riots when the patriot act passed.

Patriot Act was ahorrible idea.. The mere reason why they called that makes me believe tha thte creators new that some of the parts would be questionable.. So in that time they cleverly used the term "Patriot" to corner any one against it in a time right after 9/11 where eveyr one wanted to do something.. Only 1 guy voted against it, thats proof alone that something around those lines occured...

Also if anything the Patriot act should be called the unpatriotic act.. It has been said that those who sacrficie liberty for security deserve niether.. I think this is a important thing to pick up.. Because in the end it does violate certain pieces of our Constitution which is unacceptable in my eyes.. In the end its spitting in the eye every one who died for that document in history, imo.

Seeing as Bush in the last election won 10 or morestates by making gay marriage the main issue over national security, education, and the economy, I would think that many people out there are REAL stupid.
