Copy/paste of a Mypace bulletin I posted. Same rules apply. But to you guys (first off, of course tell me your thoughts on this) but also please tell me what you think the most important aspect of this Project is to pay attention to/ do. Thanks for the help and inspiration! (The idea obviously came from my semi-popular post of "Are You Overweight/ In Shape?" )

Thirty days.
No computer or video games.
Instead of doing my usual, get-nothing-done activities, I replace them with working out, eating healthy, something that at LEAST gets me in better shape in some way or form.
Which is a lot of working out.
Got the idea from a guy who said he hadn't played any video games in two months, and that he was ripped.
So now I'm trying this Project to see where it leads me.
Wish me luck.
On Monday, June 23, I officially isolate myself from the computer, so message and comment me all you like until then.
But from then until July 23... I won't be on.
..... well... Maybe once or twice ; )
Wish me luck.
I'll take before and after pics.
Reply me on your thoughts of...
TheProject.

you're not going to be able to do it. never go on the computer? you're kidding yourself. Set a timer, 20 mins a day, so you can check stuff.

Dude, not getting on the computer will be the easiest part of this whole thing. I've gone weeks without it. People have gone their whole lives without it. Definitley nothing to worry about.

**THOUGH, that is a good idea... I'm thinking maybe check stuff every three or so days, but it's pending.

I think as far as excersize goes running and playing sports and just being active is way more awesome than lifting heavy things in a room. Who cares whether your arms are an inch thicker, athleticism ftw.

That's also a good idea- I'm a lifeguard, and I've heard from dozens that swimming helps you work out everything. So I'll most likely hit up the pool a fair amount.

the best sport to get yourself in shape is wrestling, my favorite sport to play. their was a guy who started this season at 220 and whent down to 179 by the end of the season. he also turned a lot of his ft into muscle. u will also be a stud when you walk around knowing that u r a wrestler, and if necessary u can show your dominance over the male species. ok i got a lil carried away

This is probably as simple as you can get, but it works: Pushups, Pullups (Chin-ups), and situps one day. Run the next. No equiptment, no price, pretty simple. I have found that the diet is a huge part of it. Work-out before breakfast and you'll be good the whole day.

I think that would be a cool thing to do, but I don't think I could make it a whole month with no computer. Good luck. (Oh, and watch 300 as many times as you can. It'll help keep you pumped.)

i used to be a twig but i worked out for 5 weeks. here is my workout shedule:

_day 1 body:chest(pushups, bench press), lats(lat pulldown), traps(shoulder shrugs with weights), and abs(crunches)

_day 2 extremedies: biceps(curls), triceps(tricep pulldowns), thigh(leg press), hamstrings (leg press)

_day 3 rest: when you have a day dedicated for resting you come back all healed up and can increase your weight and reps faster. wit a day for resting, you get two days of resting per muscle. for example, you do chest on day one, and you dont do the chest for 2 days.

just repeat the days and you will get much bigger. just look at my myspace(sig) i am not a little twig.

and even if you dont want bigger legs it is smart to work out your legs. because when you workout your legs your body will release more growth hormone. i read that in a weight traing magazine. and dont work the same muscle two days in a row.

lol i was just thinking about doing this too! but im still gonna use teh intertubes and play video games, im just gonna replace a lot of that time with exercise. im just gonna do running, situps, and pushups since i dont know anything about working out or w/e and i dont really care about "getting ripped" i just wanna lose a lot of weight.
