Thats funny, I remember watching an episode of top gear on youtube, where the stig was revealed as michael Shumaker(Sp?)

The strange thing about the whole thing is that the whole anonymity was supposed to be a bit of a laugh, yet the news channels keep saying it as if its the most serious, important story going round. You would have thought he'd have a cooler name than ben collins as well.

That bites. I always enjoyed the intros for the Stig. As others, I wonder what color the new Stig will be? I still like the show where the guys had to drive to Louisiana from Florida and made the mistake of stopping in Alabama. I've seen rednecks gather round like that and I was gonna let them open a can of whoopa** on the drunk temps for the stupid stuff they were saying to the local women.

No, he got assassinated in real life.. :| I hope new Stig is going to be a girl. But that won't happen, because girls can't parallel park, let alone drive on a racing course. :lol:

No, he was definitely killed off in real-life, too. There were headlines about it and everything. The family wanted to take BBC to court, but they couldn't because the previous Stig had signed a contract that permitted BBC to kill him if he announced his identity. It was a shame, really.

There are other female racers that I didn't mention but women do race.
