What? I didn't even see that. I'm trying to post in two threads at once and I can't answer every post. The problem with the gay pride events is that they cause a lot of unwanted ruckus. I've said this five or ten times already. They are disrespectful with their noise levels. They are like little kids and need to be told over 20 times to keep the noise down before they finally do. They think only they matter. They walk around high on meth with their eyes all glazed over and just bump into people and not say sorry or anything. They're obnoxious and selfish. That's the problem. They come to a host city and take advantage of them. They don't behave like respectable guests at all.

Well as for myself, I was just considering the point that was originally made about nudity and sex for the argument. Personally I agree with the guy who said no parades on public property.

I understand that - but I just find it ironic that Mardi Gras has some of these same elements but not any attention or even the drunkenness of St. Patricks.
But I feel the main reason for why I can't agree with you is because you started this thread about GAY PRIDE being this and that. Later on its because they cause a disturbance - why couldn't you have just made a thread about "parades that cause a disturbance" Because a title like that wouldn't get to the coveted 500 post mark? I mean look you've made two controversial posts with an account with 60 posts (I'm thinking an alt account).

Gay pride parades have naked men commiting sexual acts upon each other in public, and mostly because they know it will gross someone out. It's just so petty. And drunk people are easier to corral than a bunch of tweekers high on meth, and also add to that the fact that meth is illegal so the police have to spend a lot of energy trying to cut down on the illegal narcotics being brought into the host city. Now concerning the topic at hand, TC, you seem to have a hatred for the gay community. The parades are all government sanctioned, and the police are there to make sure that things don't get to out of hand. Now concerning the drug aspect of your argument, the polie can't keep tabs on everything, if they could, then a lot of people would be in the prisons, even more than there are now. If our nations government resorted to totalitarianism, then we would be able to keep tabs on everything and everyone, not just the gay community

And how do you know they're in the closest? Not only do I know some men like this personally, but isn't it funny how there seems to be more and more gays every year? It might be closer to being even with heterosexuality than we think. Only the homosexuals will reveal this, over time. There's really no way to statistically corner an accurate representation of the distance between hetero and homosexuality, since many gay people will lie about their orientaion out of shame.
I doubt there are, it's just that more and more of them come out of the closet every year. 3% of the male population is gay and 2% of the female population is lesbian, and since it's genetic, it's not likely to change without changes to the average genetics; perhaps through high-energy photons that ionize DNA molecules... not sure if that would change sexual orientation, I'm just speculating...
As for gay pride parades and the lack of straight pride parades, I think it's because they're a minority discriminated against that's just recently being treated more equally. Same reason there's a black history month and no white history month.
Straight people have never been repressed and treated like 2nd class citizens for being who they are. Don't talk like you know anything about this subject because you clearly don't. You are a very confused individual.
