All consumers want to pay as little as possible for as much as possible (you and I included). Consumers of labor (employers) fall into that category as well. To question the morality of the actions of a consumer (whether it is you, or I, or another employer) is one thing, to act as if those who wish to get a lot while spending a little are inherantly greedy or evil is hypocritical.thegerg
Not sure what the two of you are arguing over but "Greed is an excessive desire to possess wealth or goods with the intention to keep it for one's self. Greed is inappropriate expectation." I'd say wishing to get a lot while spending little is greedy going by the above definition.

Id definitely consider expecting workers to break their backs, to scrape by on ridiculously low pay, greedy! Especially when so many corporations are making record profits now!

On the other hand I also consider people that do very little work, and expect to get paid ridiculously high amounts of money, also greedy. There is tons of both dynamics here in this country, hence a lot of greed!

This tit for tat with thegerg has gone on for far too long now. Disagree, or Agree, it doesn't really matter, but this has gone far off-topic from the thread itself.

News flash, federal government issued to closed down thousands of legalized medicinal marijuana stores. Let's see what other "services" they are going to do to "for" us.magicalclick

So much for land of the free lol. Of course I say that jokingly, we didn't have that even before this little fiasco.

Would probably fix everything. Or a party-less independent system, where one doesn't need to be a billionaire to win too (would require a governmental program probably).

Independents now need a party to be independent? :? Shows you how monopolized the political system is. >.>

But yeah, like I said, abolishment of the party system in-light of an equally chanced independents through a governmental system doesn't sound bad. Just an abstract of it, so you get the idea. :P

I see ideas that have as much chance of happening as Clinton winning a third term in this thread

It's no more greedy than suppliers of labor who feel they should be paid more of their labor than it is worth.

I will not carry this tit for tat on with you anymore. Think what you want!

honestly your central banking system is completely messed up and needs to be reformed to a similar system of other stable countries where it is accountable to the governmet only. However the private interests involved with the reserve will never allow it becuase they would lose to much influence/power.
