Well I saw this other thread a while back which was a duke between Bruce Lee and Mohammed Ali. Well anyway the clear victor was Bruce Lee with 3/4 of the votes.

Now it's time for the most important battle. Bruce Lee vs Tony Jaa. One is a Jeet Kun Do master and no doubt the fastest martial artisit in the world, the other is a Muay Thai warrior with hard hitting bone crushing movies with precision.

If these guys ever were to fight in real life no doubt the earth will implode and we all will be engulfed with earthquakes, lightning storms and all manor of craziness.... but just for sec who do you think would win ? Please explain why ?

Yes I know Tony Jaaand Bruce Lee are from two completely different time periods but just imagine if they did fight. I made this thread because Tony Jaa is touted to be the next master of action cinema like what Bruce Lee was before he died. They both have different philosophies for combat so who do you think will be the victor in a fight ?

You know anyone can do that. look. Tony Jaa /thread.

Please give reasons for your opinion. oh and if you don't know Tony Jaa then there is no point in voting. Go check out Tony's movies, namely Ong Bak & Tom Yum Goong before you vote.

I don't want to discount Bruce Lee but I reckon Tony Jaa may actually be a better fighter then him and this is coming from a HUGE Bruce Lee fan. I know you guys won't agree but I just hate the fact that people seem to think that there will never be a better martial artist then Bruce Lee.

I doubt Tony Jaa and Bruce Lee is equal in strength and agility. Have you even see Bruce Lee's demonstration at the Long Beach International Karate Championships? You would be shocked at what a small guy like him is capable of.

Some interesting info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_lee#Physical_feats

The things is, Tony Jaa himself was a huge fan of Bruce Lee, and he'll just be standing there awestruck before the legend kicks his behind into submission.

Bruce Lee had amazing strength, he was in amrtial arts and didn't so much focus on the flashy parts, he was a martial artists not so much a stuntman.
Tony Jaa although also a great martial artist focus alot more on acrobatics, which is useless in real fights.

Sure it looks more impressive to watch Tony Jaa, but Bruce Lee's advantage in strength, speed and fundamentals of MA would kick Tony Jaa's ass in a real fight.
