And if you don't agree, I have one thing to say. The United States was made by immigrants, and why not go somewhere else, if that other place is better?

For the most part, Canada is just as diverse as the US... I think that was covered in Bowling for Columbine.[QUOTE="Pearl_of_Egypt"]living in Canada > living in the USAmassiv-damage

there's a lot of diversity in Canada as well. the only reason there is less is because we're about 10% of the population in the USA. stop giving Americans a bad name by acting so arrogant.

Canada has greater diversity, although I don't always think it's a better thing. You get so many fragmented cultural groups in the big cities and no one does anything to step outside of the self-imposed boundaries. Vancouver is a mess that way.
People who immigrate to the US are not encouraged to maintain their identity - they have to become American.
Also, we've got rednecks in Alberta and a good solid unemployed southern alternative in the Maritimes.

How is he being arrogant, he's just stating an opinion like every other post on here.creating this topic boasting that USA is the greatest country in the world to live in is pretty arrogant to me. I don't see why most Americans feel the need to say that all the time. I love Canada for example, and many other Canadians do too but you don't see us making topics about it all the time. you see that here every week on OT practically.

if that were the case, you'd actually try to make an argument out of your opinion, not just state your opinion as fact like you did.
