Too much information.Indeed. I'd take the job without hesitation if it was offered to me. I guess what I'm trying to say is: please Jody, make me a mod! :cry:Man the Mods need a couple overnighters....

Indeed. I'd take the job without hesitation if it was offered to me. I guess what I'm trying to say is: please Jody, make me a mod! Everything here is moded way too easily, this is posibly the strictest forum apart from the hannah montanna website. There aren't any kiddies in OT, let us say what we want to say.[QUOTE="MystikFollower"]

What they're not for is pointless post-padding. The best thing you can do is lay off the Reply and New Topic buttons a bit. I'm not trying to be an ass, so don't take it the wrong way; I'm just trying to say that the mods won't be very happy about it.[QUOTE="821dan128"][QUOTE="MystikFollower"]

There aren't any kiddies in OT, let us say what we want to say. No, there are kiddies here actually. You're only supposed to be 13 to join, but we've all gone through the registration process and know that it's nothing but a check box (or whatever - I can't remember anymore) saying you're 13. There could be eight- or nine-year olds around here for all we know. Because of the ToS, we can assume that everyone is 13 - but even at that, a lot of parents wouldn't want their 13-year olds seeing some of what's posted on OT.[QUOTE="MystikFollower"]

You have 654 posts, you're nowhere near being a mod.[QUOTE="gamebreakerz__"][QUOTE="jalexbrown"] Indeed. I'd take the job without hesitation if it was offered to me. I'm not necessarily referring specifically to you; I'm talking to all the people that say that Gamespot is too strict and whatnot. People get all up in arms about moderations and stuff, and they act like Gamespot is just being way too strict - but really, the rules aren't very hard to follow.[QUOTE="jalexbrown"][QUOTE="gamebreakerz__"] Everything here is moded way too easily, this is posibly the strictest forum apart from the hannah montanna website. What's on YouTube is YouTube's problem, and what's on Gamespot is Gamespot's problem. And just because you wouldn't have been offended at 13 doesn't mean that the rules should be built or enforced around any single person.

This site IS too strict.

Gamespot is ran by a large corporation - not some small group of random cyber-bullies that are trying to be mean to people. I am not shy about insisting that people that don't like the rules or how they're enforced should probably go elsewhere, because it's not going to change.I've gotten modded for the most obscene things, like a 3 day ban for calling someone an idiot, surely he wasn't offended and he was an idiot.
