all i can say is why chargers? why?

argggg

Diablo-B

I'll tell you why.

J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets. Rex Ryan is Buddy Ryan's son. Buddy has two superbowls. One with the Jets and another with the Bears. And he created the Purple People Eaters. He was a defensive genius. Like father, like son.

the jets didn't beat us, we beat ourselves.

The Cowboys are hated by everyone outside of Texas.

I root for every team who plays against the Cowboys. I depise the team, their fans, their players, their surgically altered owner and their overpriced stadium.

My only regret is that T.O. still isn't there crying about Romo.

When I play against them on Madden, I try to put up over 100 points on them every game.

we have sooo many cowboys fans in san diego. i hate living in a tourist city...

Honestly, when the darn Patriots ran up the score did anyone cry this much? No.TehSupaBeatz

Uh... what? They were blasted by sportswriters for running up the score during their 16-0 season.

The Cowboys lost for a few reasons:

1. Romo doesn't know how to hang onto the ball.

2. They only ran in the beginning of the game. This did a number on the Vikings defense but they stopped doing it =/

3. They made no big plays.

before they started whining the Cowboys forgot that only a week earlier they ran the score up worse against Philly.iowastate

No, no they didn't. Last week, they ran 17 plays in the 4th quarter. 4 passes, 13 runs. That's running out the clock; not running up the score.

Ummm...no, not really

They lost b/c they could not pass protect
-They ran the ball the entire 1st quarter (they outgained the Vikes by a ton of yardage in the 1st)
-but the O-line got destroyed on both sides (the left side after Adams went out)

That is all it was plain and simple...could not pass protect (can't make a big play when you are on your back)
-Romo ran around for his life the whole time...nobody could hold the ball under that pressure

They were too far behind to run in the second half
-Felix was averaging about 6 yards a carry in the first quarter

Considering how the Jets come from down 14 in the 4th and stold the game from the Chargers, its understandable the Vikes want to put the game out of reach the way they did... 3 TDs and a field goal.

Now if we are talking about that one game where the Pats decimated the Titans with the score at 59 - 0.... that's running up the score right there

I'm a Dallas fan and I have nothing against Minnesota scoring late. You get paid top dollar to stop these dudes, you shouldn't whine when they don't let up. It's the playoffs, deal with it.

It's not like a high school team scoring at will with the game in hand. These men are professionals.

I'm inclined to agree but of course I would, I'm a Vikings fan.

If it were the last game of the season and some 1 and 15 team was getting beaten up on by another team. I don't know if I'd feel the same way. And if I were the coach I don't think I'd even made the same calls in the Vikings Cowboy's game.

Playoffs though you gotta be ready to play, and frankly the Cowboys get lots of media attention, still play up the america's team deal, they play with lots of bravado (for good reason), built that god forsaken monster of a stadium, have an outspoken owner. No one player is responsible for that but you slowly paint targets on your back with that stuff. Folks are going to be looking to prove something against you.

I don't think the fact that it is the Cowboys SHOULD play a role (though it does) We try and teach that you should go all out each play...they are pros...stop them or shut up about it

Dallas needs to play DEFENSE so that type of playing doesn't happen.

The Dallas D was not THAt bad. The offense put them in terrible spots (so many turnovers in their own territory) -the D was selling out to stop the run on that last 4th and 3 play

I just got back from San Diego today. Jets fans were going crazy as the bars in the Gaslamp District. I like the Patriots attitude on football. When they hit the field they are there to play 60 minutes of football, and thats exactly what the Vikings did. Played the ENTIRE 60 minutes.

Can someone please explain to me why running up the score is treated like a crime's by the fans? What's the difference between losing and losing big? The winning team is just doing it's job while the losing team isn't.

Think it's embarrasing? Play better.

Yeah, they ran it up, but honestly, it shouldn't matter. It's the playoffs--stop them and have a turnover.

Later on Sunday, I went out to eat after watching the game at an Italian restaurant. Waiting to be seated, a long line of people started walking in to the private room in back. Lo and behold, it was Vikings runningback, Adrian Peterson and his family

Cause seeing a bunch of amateurs is the best thing in the world. /sarcasm I hope Cowboys give them a big slap in the face next season though.

Minnesota hasn't won a championship in Football, Baseball, Hockey, or Basketball since 1991. I'm not a huge sports fan but I really hope the Vikes at least make it to the Superbowl.

quarterbacks wear a diaper these days and they call penalties for barely even touching them, and now we have to worry about if someone who gets paid millions of dollars on the other team cries because you scored too many times? besides, maybe they were using it as a practice, trying a play or 2 against them in order to prepare for what looks like a very tough game next week. are they not allowed to play the full 60 minutes because they were too good??
