Tonight's the night of the finale episode for season 6. Last weeks episode was getting intense, I was shock at the end of last weeks episode Daryl getting shot and for some reasons, call it a gut feeling, I'm assuming they're gonna do the cliffhanger on this last one.

How do you guys like season 6 so far?

I actually looked away at the last part in the episode because I was doing something else and didn't even see it. My wife filled me in. It would be a shocker if it's like it sounded.

The last 10 minutes was good until the cliffhanger. What a lame way to end the season.

Yup. Really the whole episode was good until that absolutely STUPID cliffhanger. I feel like the writers just had no idea who they wanted to kill so they said "**** it, we can leave it on a cliffhanger and figure it out for next season."

I feel it is going to be Glenn like it is in the comics, but IDK for sure and I wanted that to be over with. You even fucking advertised this major comic moment in your previews for the finale but then just sit there and leave us hanging? Really?

Stupid stupid stupid.

How is it a cliffhanger? We know he killed someone, and if you know anything about the comics you know who that is.

@SexyJazzCat:

Not necessarily....Darryl is a wild card, he's not in the comics. Also, he's starring in another series, I think he was killed.

This was lame, I didn't even think it was a great episode to begin with, but that may be because I was tired. Better Call Saul remains AMC'S best current show.

I gotta say that Last Days on Earth really got good, for a hour-in-a-half, the Saviors had this whole place well organized from the start, I really thought the acting was great at the last minute and FINALLY!!!!! Negan!!! As for Rick, damn, Rick is paralyzed with fear. The jokes are okay but for hour-in-a-half was just dragging it though.

One of the most anticipated episodes in show history and they do a total cop out...

They had 15 minutes of anticipation at the end for Negan and to end on a cliffhanger where you don't even reveal who died makes zero sense. It's obvious the writers don't want to kill off the person who dies in the comics but cannot make up their minds as to who should die.

The anticipation for next season should of been how Rick and co were going to get out of the mess and the aftermath of the death.

is anyone surprised by the cliffhanger?

it's the writers' and producers' jobs to sell advertising time for the network and they do that by creating a product people watch AND maintaining the audiences interest in their product for future episodes. an effective way to do that is with cliffhanger endings like that.

now they can build anticipation for the start of the next season, get fans salivating and get advertisers to shell out the $$ for time on the network. job done.

I like the set up to the last 10 minutes on how Rick and the group went from being confident and each road block they encountered, that confidence went away and at the end they were defeated and afraid. I didn't really care for the Morgan/Carol story line and I wish they will make a Walking Dead series on Netflix so these damn commercials doesn't get in the way. I haven't read the comics but this Negan character is worthy of the hype. I just read bits and pieces how Negan is and he makes The Governor look like a pansy, so I'm excited to see what's the next season will bring. I'm fine with the cliff hanger, I guess I'm just spoiled by the Game of Thrones guaranteed character deaths shock and awe.

Normally I'm not of seasons picking up at the EXACT moment where they last left off, but I really hope they do here. I'd hate for it to just open up with the group going about their day, some what saddened by the loss of a member of the group. I want to see the immediate aftermath.

I have a feeling they're not going to stay faithful to the comics for this character death. It's too obvious to go with him while creating this false "cliffhanger" impression.

I felt like Negan was a really lame speech giver until that drawn out cliff hanger.

I liked the Morgan and Carol story personally. It was great seeing Morgan unleash the beast and I think his doing that might help bring Carol back from the brink (which I hope she does because she is one of my favorite characters in the entire show). It is also awesome as their story is introducing the Kingdom (those people who pick them up are from the Kingdom) which if you don't know is another group of survivors that is lead by a badass named Ezekial who has a fucking TIGER as a pet (and yes the tiger eats walkers!).

Really, the episode as a whole was pretty damn great till that shitty ass cliffhanger. It left me pissed off and put a damper on the entire episode. That was not a thread that should have been left un-pulled. That episode needed to end with us actually SEEING the brutality of Neegan and then they could let our survivors stew on it for the off-season. I would have been fine if it just ended with them still on their knees and everything. We just needed to see the person murdered and needed to see what Neegan is capable of.

Am I the only one that thinks negan is more likable than rick's group in the show? Comics negan was horrible but I find this negan to be funny.

Wow man. I am LOVING the casting of Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan. I've seen him in other stuff, and I'll be honest, wasn't a fan. Didn't like Watchmen, my Mrs watches The Good Wife, and used to watch Gray's Anatomy , and I can't stand either of those. When I heard he was taking the role, I was worried.

But my god did he nail that performance. The whole scene was incredibly tense, the scariest the show has ever, and probably will ever, be. As someone who reads the comic, he did not disappoint.

I will say, I kinda wish they could have snuck an "F" bomb in their at some point. I mean it's his favorite word in the comics, so it was kinda weird not hearing his TV counterpart say it, though I do understand why (can't blame the show for rules they don't make, though why bad language isn't allowed but people getting eaten alive is I'll never understand), so maybe they can put it into the DVD/Blu-Ray release, kinda like with the S4 finale.

I will say, I'm not sure how to feel about the cliffhanger. I went in kinda expecting them to do this, so it hasn't bothered me quite as much as it has other people. That said, It's still annoying, because I've been anticipating this moment since we got to Alexandria, and now to have it confirmed that we have to wait till S7 sucks, especially as you know it's probably gonna get spoiled before hand, which to me is actually the most annoying thing about it. We know someone will find out, and we know they won't keep it to themselves and it'll be posted on every website under the sun, so that it's impossible to avoid finding out, and I hate that. This is why they should have shown it, not to just to have it be shown, but to avoid it been spoiled, just like how Glenn surviving the heard by hiding under the dumpster was spoiled. Your cliffhanger means nothing, if we find out from outside sources between the cliffhanger and it's reveal.

Now for prediction time. Going by the position of the RV behind Negan, it's clearly either Abraham, Michonne, Daryl, Rosita or Glenn, and I think he was closer to the center of those 5, meaning Michonne, Daryl or Rosita. Going by the fact that Michonne has plot armor, and Rosita is probably the person people will care the least about been killed off, I'm gonna go ahead and predict that Daryl "Met Lucille". Of course, could be wrong, as it wouldn't be the first time TWD has played with the camera angles to trick us, or just gotten the angle completely wrong. Though I also wouldn't be surprised if was said above was true, and they've haven't decided who's dead yet.

The finale was a turd. they had an extra half hour to develop things more and spent half of it on storylines I don't care about. Then the "cliffhanger," which wasn't a cliffhanger so much as a cheap attempt to grab ratings. They could have had an effective cliffhanger by showing who Negan's victim was- it would have gotten people excited for more. Instead, they didn't show you who it was and that's just shit. I'm completely done with the show. At least the comics don't pull crap like that.

That was the worst episode I've ever seen from that series.
