The Worlds Elite (Special Forces)

Just to have your say on who you think is the best special force is in the world at the moment, this is in terms off training, tasks, history and most of all there effectiveness on the battlefield or in any field of combat, as special forces.

Personally I would pick the S.A.S. I think that they are unmatched in their ability on the battlefield at the moment, also most are drawn from the best trained regular army in the world, the British Army, however they do also take soldiers from the commonwealth giving more scope for the soldiers they can pick.

lol i have to disagree, next you'll be saying S.W.A.T is on par with the S.A.S. Anyway, not that i care much about the French but they have a somewhat reputable special forces team called the GiGN.

Countries with somewhat unknown special forces usually just have an armed police task force, their version of SWAT if you will... as opposed to something like the SAS or Navy seals
