He said if the british were as numerous. obviously at the number they are today they couldnt they havnt got enough manpower, but if we were as numerous we would be in an equal fight, we share the same technology we either work together on it or trade it.

If the British army really pushed, it could probably match the American numbers. But because of many government defence reviews it has been reduced to a global police force.

Yeah, if we wan't to turn into another North Korea. The US is a larger country, and will always have a larger army than any single European nation.

The US army today is just over 1 million. The size of the British army during WW2 was well over 3 million - and that was with a smaller population. Today if they needed it, Uk could probably recruit about 6 - 7 million healthy men.

Britain was in a state of total mobilization during the second world war. Sure, Britain could mobilize it's economy and society into such a state any time, and it would easily rival that of the current US military. But such an argument is futile, since you have to consider the fact that the US would be much, much more powerful military wise if it did the same thing.

i personally think the nazis should be higher, its painful to say but blitzkrieg was genius

and whoever at the start said why the french? they conquered europe at a time when people marched in lines at each other, look at how the french organised their ranks, again genius
