Well I've been talking to a DJ recently and basically he said the only bad stuff is this new hybrid metal,rap,emo thing that has started. He doesn't mind tokio hotel, paramore and such he basically says it's nice music and that's all it has to be. I really agreed with that, especially coming from a person who listens to like everything ... but black metal lol. So I'll just say brokencyde and move along.. or chamillionaires (I really hate OT for showing me these bands :evil: )

Wikipedia says a lot of things...but yeah if that's your opinion fair enough. I just don't think it's a real genre. I don't even care for 'Genre's' really, they're just classifications given to keep people happy.

For the most part yeah but it has moved onto the whole Indie Rock thing too, As "Scene" yea that's a lame fad. I thought it would die out by now but I guess I was wrong lol.
I can't believe people have said As I lay Dying. I like their An Ocean Between Us album... I also can't believe someone said Bring Me The Horizon. I'm not a terribly huge fan, and they may be "chugga chugga" trigger happy, but worst band ever? Naaaahhh. Nickelback gets my vote.

People associate female singers with pop music too much. Bit of a shame, really. Easy to ignore even if most pop singers do have a strong voice it's just the songwriting that falls apart on them. That's for another discussion though.
