movie Monty Python and the holy grail that movie had a horrible endingpatriots2871
Well it wasn't supposed to make any sense.
Thats a pretty good reason not to like it. Hayden is probably... probably the worst actor i've seen since... I don't even know, but he's pretty horrible. falconclan
Ironic, isn't it? Some people say he's a horrible actor, yet Hollywood continues to cast him in lead roles.
I Am Legend had the worst ending in recent memory. Movie was actually pretty decent, up until other people showed up miraculously in the last third of the movie. Then, to make matters worse, they tacked on a standard Hollywood ending that destroyed all of the interesting themes that the rest of the movie had been building up to.
Movie actually had potential, and ended up being pretty much ruined by a bad ending.
As far as best ending, I vote for Terminator 3 (not my final answer, but it's the first good answer that pops into mind). Simply because the rest of the movie was GOD AWFUL. But then, the final two minutes ALMOST made me think that the movie wasn't a waste of time. ALMOST. But not quite. Still, it takes a pretty good ending to make me even WANT to like a movie that was that ****ing bad.
MrGeezer
I found the ending to be incredibly unsatifying, especially because the movie was so bad.

I think you just lost major credibility points. That's a classic movie and the ending was hilarious.
the movie as a whole was good, but the ending... incredibly random, abrupt, pointless... I've watched it several times, with different groups of people every time, and every time the ending was greeted with a resounding "WTF?!"

it wasn't that bad[QUOTE="patriots2871"][QUOTE="honkyjoe"]I am legendFilm-Guy
it really was...
alternate ending ftw
I guess the first thing that comes to mind is Monster a Go-Go in which it appears that the film makers ran out of money to film an actual ending and so they just narrated a quick wrap-up which completely negated all that action that happened up until that moment. Not only was it a complete cop out, it just didn't even vaguely make any sense.
Signs. Completely ruined the movie for me....Thechaninator
Actually the ending was awesome! :)
Indy 4 was pretty awful. Also Assassins Creed wasn't bad it was just annoying.

The happening, what a waste of time. Don't go see M. Night's movies any more, I keep seeing them like a woman keeps seeing her abusive boy friend, hoping he's changed, but he just beats me with an even worse plot EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.falconclan
awesome analogy
assassin's creed had me pissed. the village was awful. i loved lock stock and two smoking barrels, but really wanna know whether the guy held on to the guns
Terminator 3. Gee, thanks for totally destroying the message and basis of the prior two which are among my favorite films, Jonathan Mostow. Go die.Verge_6
Thank you. I totaly agree.
If you haven't already, I highly recommend you read Terminator 2: Infiltrator. IMO, one of the best sci-fi novels and most definitely what the third film should have been based on.
Harry potter book seven. That last line i swear should have said
"and just as the train began to disappear on the horizon Harry's scar began to burn"
[QUOTE="darkspineslayer"]from game i have to say assassins creed...that was horrible_Scooter_
I didn't understand that ending. What was all that red glowing crap all over the walls and floors? What did any of those symbols and pictures have to do with anything?
Presumably, you have to wait for the sequel to find out..

Seriously, what in the HELL was he thinking? The whole point of the first two films, other than to rake in some cash for James Cameron, was to tell us that WE make our future. We aren't on some predetermined path that cannot be changed. We, the makers of our future, have to do our best to make it the best we can. Then, Cameron's apathetic ex-wife sells the rights of the franchise to the highest bidder, and along comes J. Mostow, basically saying "Uh...yeah, the premise of the first two? Forget it.".
[QUOTE="teh_destroyer"]The ending to the MIst was good, but the acting for that part was horrible.Film-Guy
Agreed, the ending would have been much more effective if Thomas Jane wasnt such a bad actor in the role.
HE JUST WANTS HIS KIDS BACK!

Right on! You should seriously read Terminator 2: Infiltrator. The novel was so well written, is so action-packed and would definitely have made a 20X better script for T3.
