It might even be their best album yet.

I saw them live a few days ago... they were amazing, one of the best concerts I've ever been to.
Colur Trip By Ringo Deathstarr. Straight 90s My Bloody Valentine/Jesus and Mary Chain- shoegaze rip off and I love it
Surtur Rising by Amon Amarth or The Hunter by Mastodon. Though I've yet to hear Unto the Locusts by Machine Head.
I hope "Neighborhoods" Blink-182's sixth album which sounds amazing and worth the six year wait gets album of the year. They deserve it by what Mark,Tom and Travis went through those six years like Travis's plane crash in 2008, deaths of both Jerry Finn (their long time producer) and DJ AM the other survivor from the plane crash. And plus they have matured and their writing style is really good and I love how they enfuse all of their side projects into Blink.
I have only bought one album this year and that would be Thank You Happy Birthday by Cage the Elephant. Not as good as their first album but still good.

I approve of the TC's choice for best album this year so far. This is coming from a guy who's music collection is 90% Rap and R&B, so that should say something.
Here are some honorable mentions:
Watch The Throne
All 6s and 7s
Doggumentary
I wanted to put Tha Carter IV up there but it dissapointed me.
