This dream I have had more than twice is starting to scare me...

I dream that I'm driving and when I try to stop, the breaks don't work. So I'm pounding on the breaks, but it doesn't work. I then crash into the car in front of me and I die, then I wake up.

I often have the can't brake while driving dream. I suspect it's not uncommon. The most interesting (and makes sense) thing I've heard about dreams is it's not the subject matter that is important it's the emotion you experience in the dream.

I also read that the ol teeth falling out dream(also not uncommon) is a sign of feeling out of control of a situation in your daily life. The brakes thing is a more literal analogy.

well technically ur interpretation of the dream is wrong. You cannot die in your sleep cause that would cause your body to think you were dead in real life thus stopping your heart.. I believe it's been scientifically tested!ferrari2001

That is definitely NOT true. I have died more than once in my dreams.

My most recent was when I got impaled by a sharp piece of metal, fell to my knees, and died. My spirit then left my body and I was then looking down at my dead corpse.

usually a foreshadow is a dream where you can remember you had it but you cant remember what its about, if you can remember it with some semi detail then its not a foreshadow, atleast thats how my life has beenlinkin_guy109

You obviously don't know what "foreshadow" means.

Death tends to mean "Change" when you are doing psychoanalytical dream interpretation, car would of course represent the course your life is taking, I'd go with the basic theory that you are heading into a change in your life course.

See, now the first thought that came to my mind was "he is in a situation which he feels powerless over." 'Cause he is trying to stop the car but can't. . .

It's rarely a dream foreshadows an event but just check your brakes to make sure. filiwian
