This is my favorite anime. What is yours?

Well I've just finished watching Elfen Lied. That was a brutal series but it kinda pulls at the heartstrings. I enjoyed watching all the Full Metal Panic's, Flame Of Recca, Burst Angel, FMA, Bleach, Neon Genesis Evanglion, Digimon. I'm in need of another good but violent anime.

When They Cry, Death Note, Code Geass, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Full Metal Alchemist and Fruits Basket.

And Toy Story 2 isn't an anime.

Definitely see When They Cry (or Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni if you're more into subs). It is both violent and amazing; far better than that crap Elfen Lied.

Nothing but violence and gore and boobs, with every single flaw on every single major character being blamed on bogus psychobabble caused by another character who has just as many psychological problems; nothing is their fault, they would be perfect *if only* this guy didn't beat her when she was little or this girl didn't rip his parents in half in front of his eyes when he was six. It's disgusting, unnecessary and the incredibly short plotline (along with the absolutely ridiculous and nonsensical love interest) hardly helps.

I never watched anime except one. "I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was" Take a guess. :P

Anime, in the English sense of the word, is just a certain sty1e of cartoons. In Japanese, it's animation in general.

I love all anime but the best one is probably Teen Titans

Has anyone ever heard of Titan A.E.? It's kinda unknown cause I don't see it mentioned in a lot of anime threads. It's pretty cool!

Always good to see Chobits listed. Not many people talk about it nowadays with all their Yu-Gi-Ohs and Elfen Lieds and Death Notes, but I preferred it to all of them.
