Dissent is good if you actually have something intelligent to say. But disagreeing just for the sake of disagreeing is like punching a puppy because you're bored.

I was merely calling into question the criteria upon which stupid is assigned to peoples' beliefs. Some believe in a magical being that created the entire world. Some believe in a pantheon of magical beings that dominate everyones' life. Some believe in no magical beings. Who determines which beliefs are stupid and which are acceptable?
