This man makes $51,369 an hour, offers no product or service, and you pay his taxes.

His company has more revenue than CocaCola, Microsoft, and Disney combined. Who is he? Henry Kravis of KKR. What does his company do?

His company exploits tax loopholes while making hostile takeovers of other corporations on borrowed money. His hostile takeovers result in thousands of layoffs, job outsourcing, and removal of retirment and pension plans.

This man is an opportunistic infection that has arisen because of incompetency in our government. He makes money through laying off hardworking people, and breaking contracts for retirements and pensions.

I'm sure he has a staff, but his business operates at the expense of the country's economy. He is a parasite.

Where is the theft? seems to me he is just taking advantage of the goverment.

He lobbies congress in Washington to write the laws that he can then exploit. It is an unfortunate day when politicians are willing to sell off the infastructure of the United States to the highest bidder.

Well this is just evidence of how pure captialism does not run along with common good.. What makes me sick even more is companies like Haliburton making record profits at the expense of the troops and government.

Why? What he is doing is completely legal. This is a capitalist system of economics, if he has money to buy a company, he should be allowed to purchase that company. Now, the tax side may need to be adressed, but what he does other than the taxes is 100% legal.

No wonder the whole economy is going down the drain right now, we've been spiralling the drain for a bit now, anyone who disagrees doesnt know what the economy is going through, anyone who supports his organization is supporting corruption and the end to modern america The gap between poor and rich is bigger everyday

We can apply your logic to various other issues that were once legal...such as slavery, and fraud.

If a corporation finds a loophole that allows it to profit without actually producing goods or services that helps society...that loophole needs to be closed immediately since it's harming the nations economy.

You're not entitled to theft either. This is the reason the neoconservative, George W. Bush economy is now crashing. The country is getting what it deserves, and I think the economy deserves to crash and burn.

The republicans don't understand the difference between capitalism and theft.

Not really. Fraud is harming someone, as is slavery. If you made this illegal, you'd make every buyout of a company by another illegal, and that's just not possible.

This man is not harming anyone, layoffs and buyouts happen all the time. It's part of the economy.

Yes...he is harming the economy. If a corporation/individual profits without actually giving something back to society...he's indirectly harming it, even more so when idiotic presidents wants to cut taxes.

but what is wrong and right is based of an individual or individuals personal values and thoughts. What seems wrong to you seems perfectly right to me,as in this situation. Death penalty is legal i don't think it's right but others may beg to differ. Right and wrong have nothing ot do with this situation.

Not really. Fraud is harming someone, as is slavery. If you made this illegal, you'd make every buyout of a company by another illegal, and that's just not possible.

This man is not harming anyone, layoffs and buyouts happen all the time. It's part of the economy.

The legality of the issue isn't the focus of the debate-- my point was that the tax code should be modified in order to prevent this type of parasitic behavior. Tax breaks should be given to companies that are retraining people who have been laid off, and creating jobs. That's what makes for a good economy.

This neoconservative economic model has been an outright disaster.

That kind of logic contains 100% pure fail...

you're going to have to explain why. this kind of **** coming from people like you only serves to reinforce my beliefs on the subject matter.

I've seen you post ignorant comments before...and you're as ignorant as I initially thought. I won't waste my time explaining this **** to you since it's hopeless.

sorry jointed, I replied to the wrong post. this is quoting you and responding, take 2:

this best summarizes the conversation taking place now:

me: Explain why I am wrong

you: you're too stupid to understand

"If a corporation finds a loophole that allows it to profit without actually producing goods or services that helps society...that loophole needs to be closed immediately since it's harming the nations economy." - Jointed

Why? What he is doing is completely legal. This is a capitalist system of economics, if he has money to buy a company, he should be allowed to purchase that company. Now, the tax side may need to be adressed, but what he does other than the taxes is 100% legal.

These kinds of problems should be solved by reinforcing the economic structure with reforms...

We can apply your logic to various other issues that were once legal...such as slavery, and fraud.

Yes...he is harming the economy. If a corporation/individual profits without actually giving something back to society...he's indirectly harming it, even more so when idiotic presidents wants to cut taxes.

Harming the economy? So now every company that lays people off is "harming the economy."

What would harm the economy more would be if that company just shut down, because they couldn't operate due to high costs. Then even more people would be out of work.

well, if the subject matter is tax breaks, then maybe the tax codes should be modified.

I mean, him paying less taxes percentage wise than lower-middle-class americans, that just aint right.
