This Week's Box Office Results: Nothing But Hate For The Love Guru

Out of the two comedies that's opened this weekend, Get Smart is the clear winner (and holder of the #1 sopt) with an estimated $39 mil, while The Love Guru opened at #4 with with a dismal $14 million take. Everithing else on the chart speaks for itself. I guess it's a sign that America is either tired of Mike Myers, or by judging from the trailer I seen of it, it just wasn't funny. I wonder if he regrets not making Austin Powers 4...

Next week's offering has Angelina Jolie in the action film Wanted, and Disney and Pixar offers up its latest animated film, Wall-E.

i watched it and it made me laugh a lot, it was really good as a COMEDY

no, i dodnt expect a deep storyline with huge epic battles in the movie... i just wanted to laugh ¬¬

I want to see Get Smart, I saw the incredible hulk(good movie, will be raking in the money for the next month like ironman)

And Still didn't see Ironman(must be good, almost two months and it's still raking in money, even if its less then 500k)

Maybe The Love Guru was only on the chart because some idiot spent 14,000,000 on one ticket? I can only hope...

Yeah, I'm planning to see that one sometime in the near future. Also, I plan on watching The Strangers and The Happening when they get to DVD.

Other than those few, there's nothing else I'd want to watch.

Most of that list is pure garbage, Hollywood has really gone to the dumps.

Saw The Hulk, much better than the first one.

For some reason I find myself wanting to see Wall-E.

I think starring the Rock against Steve Carrell was genious. Exactly the role to get him out of the "Vin Diesel is a better actor." stereotype.

Enjoy it while you can, because Wall-E is going to destroy the Box Office next week.

Most of the films listed are entertainment films, its summer, look at any summer and its like this, good movies dont come until fall, this is really no different then most years.
