I live in the UK but would love to tour the rest of europe. Though I wouldn't visit the big holiday destinations smaller quiet locations.

Fucking Budapest. Dentistry is 70% cheaper than the UK.

Well as someone who is disabled(terrible eyesight) I get a discount on anything medical but I agree prices here are shit.

Sounds like a good time, i am from Stuttgart :D

I had a pleasant time although I avoided late autumn and winter because of the weather. Germany seems dreary in winter. The snow is okay. But, the bouts of cold, cold rain and wind is depressing. I rather have it all snow.

The above reminded me of Upstate New York where we lived for six years: very similar climate. It's probably no surprise that part of New York state was favored by German immigrants. A lot of people there have German ancestors.

Edit:

Oh, just like Upstate New York...... The forests in Germany are lovely in autumn.

This could be in Upstate New York too: <<< Just google Adirondacks autumn

Germany is nothing compared to Norway dude

What a coincidence that (the garbage dump of) Norway happens to be your own country.

Soon Putin's magnificent armies will march all the way from Lugansk to Lisbon, liberating everything in between.

Then there will be no "Europe".

There will be only a greatly enlarged Russia in its place.

I would like to visit Scotland to see their distilleries. Also, Switzerland is amazing. When I retire, I would like to live in Switzerland for the rest of my life. Other than that, I don't have anything against Europe. It's a continent filled with history, things to do, and places to see. Although I heard French people are snobbish, and I imagine Eastern Europe would be depressing to visit. But hey, maybe I'm wrong.

You should avoid Berlin and try to go to the south either Munich or Stuttgart. Both great cities

Netherland in my city things has been hectic and warface. In nighttime I heard two bombs explosion in a row. And now recently someone shot a latest gen m82 sniper(mismatching sound compared to in-game one).

Anyone recall that Netherland allow using military exercise here? Let alone in nighttime and middle of city.

What's your definition of Eastern Europe? Anything east of Germany?

If so, there are some really nice places to visit. I'd definitely recommend visiting Budapest in Hungary and Prague in Czech Republic. Both beautifull historic places and rather cheap too. I hear Krakow in Poland is nice too. I haven't been there myself, but it's on my to do list.

Any of the former Soviet blocs. I have heard that Poland was doing relatively well as a country. As for the rest, I'm not sure of. I'll take your word for it however.

Well, there is a huge difference between visiting any of those countries as a tourist, and living there.

I would also like your thoughts on Germany, my birthplace, i've seen some bigoted stuff last time i tried this so here i try it again. What are you general thoughts of europe vs where you live/US? Do you think we are a bunch of misguided pussies that have no balls to play world police? Do you think we have something good going on? I would like to know

Europe the birthplace of all modern western civilizations so what is not to like :D

only concern is Germany and France´s idea of a European United States. with them at the top.
