IMO, this guy is the funniest thing since Bugs Bunny. Apparently the main reason he wasn't getting viewers was because he was "offensive". The world is really getting messed up when a ventriliquist can't have a rude puppit. Discuss.

I don't actually have cable so I wouldn't know, but I'm pretty sure anything that genius does would be better than plent of the un-cancelled crap I've seen on TV.Jeff Dunham's stand up is hilarious, but I found the show to be mediocre at best.

No, it's because the show was ****ing terrible. I like Jeff Dunham's standup, but his show was on the same level as Mind of Mencia.
If shows were canceled because some people found them offensive, then Chappelle's Show would have never made it past the first episode.
I have no opinion on the show being canceled. I've seen it a few times but I have no idea what channel it is on.Vuurk
Comedy Central.
I definitely saw this coming, though not because of him being considered "offensive." There's much worse on Comedy Central.
I do think, however, that his ventriloquism was fantastic for stand-up, but not a sketch show. I've seen it, and it's not that funny. A lot of the jokes are recycled as a matter of fact, which works for stand-up comedy, not fora series.
He should focus on making DVDs and doing shows. He's a talented ventriloquist and a fantastic comedian.

Holy lord its about time. Now they should bring back Reno 911shockwave04This Jeff Dunham is one of the worst comedians ever.
His standup is ok but the whole premise of a 24 min sketch comedy show sounded terrible and indeed was terrible. I knew the second they announced the show that it will fail. It didn't lend itself well to a show and didn't have that spark of genius we saw with Chappelle show and the first season or so of Mind of Mencia (before it grew tiresome and unfunny).
The topics and material have all been done before and Comedy Central really needs to trend into some new ground for tv shows. Because I think its clear that people are tired of "racial/ethnic comedy sketch show".
i'm glad it's being cancelled, the show was crap. a few times i've watched the last few minutes of it because i was waiting for the show after it to come on, and it was one of the dumbest things i've ever seen.
His specials were good, but the show just didn't seem all that solid to me, for some reason. Same with Secret Girlfriend. I bet Secret Girlfriend will bite the dust soon if it hasn't already.fidosim
The reason is was more than likely cancelled: Ratings. It may have had some fans, but there's no point in keeping a show on the air if no one's watching it.
In all honesty, I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. A standup special with puppets is one thing, but to stretch an act like that into a weekly show without it getting old quickly is hard to do.
I've never found him funny and I found their sudden obsession with pushing him over the last couple of years really puzzling. It's always a shame to see somebody lose a show but I never watched him anyways so it's no personal big loss for me.
Usually these comedian-centered shows don't do well unless there's something about the show itself to draw people in. In other words, a show has to be able to stand on its own without the star comedian in order to have a chance at good ratings. For example, Chappelle's Show, The Daily Show, and The Colbert Report.
Anyway, I totally forgot that Jeff Dunham even had a show so I guess I can't be too surprised that it's getting cancelled.
