Do you think the whole "reflecting with God" thing is just an act? I mean, who is egotistical enough to think that God is going to help you with a trivial event that doesn't mean anything? Personally, I think he just wants to seem like a good person. He wants people to think of him as modest, as he attributes his success to God rather than myself. That may work for the Baby Boomers, but it just pisses me off. What do you guys think? Is it just an act, or is Tim Tebow really this stupid?

Don't call Timothy stupid. You're stupid for thinking it's an act.

It's both. He's evangelical so his goal is to be in your face about it. I wouldn't be shocked if his whole deal is a huge act though. I'm wating for the news that he's been busted with child porn or something horrible.

Tebow takes his faith seriously. If you can't handle it, turn off every media device in your house.

You'd be surprised. It is pretty silly.

ESPN did a poll when the Broncos were on a winning streak and something like 43% of the people said they believed divine intervention was helping the Broncos.

A lot of people are really stupid.

Yes, I do think he is that stupid. I don't have any problems with him; he is free to practice his religion all he wants. However, I do think it is a little wierd and egotistic to think that the lord of the universe (who is supposed to be fair was well) is helping you win a football game.

He seems like a genuinely good person, even if he is a little obnoxiously open about expressing himself. He is a terrible QB though.

I think it's straight up dangerous thinking, and it makes me sick how so many "fans" actually think Yahweh interferes in those meaningless games.

Because I hate hearing people talk about how good of a person he is. He certainly knows how to win the crowd over. By the way, I heard he wanted to have a group prayer before some test during college football, and someone said, "Shut the **** up," and people laugh. Is that true?

If God's wasting his effort on AMERICAN football of all things, he needs to get his priorities straight. I mean, have you seen Africa!?

I think he is not faking at all. I think he should keep it to himself a little bit more but that's just my opinion.

how do you know he isn't a good person? have you heard anything to the contrary? if his belief in god helps make him strive to be a better person and a good role model why does that bother you?

I imagine since he was raised that way...Although people attributing every, if any, success to a god does scratch me the wrong way. Put credit where credit is due. A god didn't cause you to score a touchdown, YOU DID. Give yourself a pat on the back.

Why doubt him? He seems to be a sincere believer in God and Chirst. God bless him for it.
