haven't caught up with much this year, so I can't speak to the quality of a lot of these lists. The song list is obviously awful, even as far as pop goes. The album list is alright I guess, though the only one that would make my top 20 is Fiona's.

I get that best song lists are always going to skew towards poppier stuff, but what is up with that song/album split?
TV lists were also kinda weird. Digital Estate Planning was one of the weaker Community episodes and somehow lands at #2, but Community itself doesn't crack the best show list whatsoever? Same sort of deal with the Breaking Bad/Mad Men episode/series placement. Not any totally crazy picks except the Awake pilot and the election, but it's like the writer just threw the de rigeur choices and a couple of wild cards in a hat and picked episodes/shows at random.
They have a Nicki Minaj song as the 7th best song of the year. They have a Skrillex song as the 6th best song of the year. They have a Taylor Swift song as the 4th best song of the year. They have Gangnam Style as the 2nd best song of the year. Their best song of the year in 2012 was by Usher.

Superbass is a good song proving that she's capable of it, Bangarang is fun, Gangnam Style is catchy and fun, and Climax is an excellent song.
