So what do you guys think of the first phone to offer googles first open source OP. I personally think this phone is awsome not so much the design, but for what android can do.

I agree, they could have made the design a lot cooler. But I haven't actually heard much about WHAT it can do so not sure what to say except "nice screen... it has very nice...ehm, colors"

Having T-Mobile, I'd like to pick one up. But I doubt I'll be able to do that anytime soon.

I just saw a commercial for this and I HAD to find out more. After checking out all of the G1's features, i've come to the conclusion that this will be my phone of choice. I understand that the iPhone would be my media/web/phone all-in-one solution, but call me a sucker for tactile qwerty keypads. I'm perfectly carrying a zune and phone.
