Because you named Baba O'Riley wrong, I'm not going to argue and instead laugh hysterically.[QUOTE="zepman71"]How come hardly anyone is saying Keith Moon? Hes one of the greatest drummers of all time!thatpunk

And Keith Moon isn't very good to begin with. He just plays fast.

The Who are one of the greatest Rock N Roll bands ever actually (and its Baba O Reilly :P)

No. That would be Led Zeppelin. Though I am not a fan (I actually despise their music), they have had one of the largest followings ever. The only performers I can think of that would be bigger than Led Zeppelin would be either Elvis or The Rolling Stones.

I think Zeppelin are a bit overrated actually (and Moon was better than Bonham)

Beatles?Exactly what I was thinking. Problem is they weren't as good performing as they were in the studio. Queen should take the crown.

Bonham is one of the finest rhythm drummers of all time. I don't know how he's better or worse than Moon.[QUOTE="ithilgore2006"][QUOTE="RoyTheViking"][QUOTE="zepman71"][QUOTE="thatpunk"][QUOTE="zepman71"]How come hardly anyone is saying Keith Moon? [QUOTE="RoyTheViking"]Another Great Drum Duet by Phil Collins and Chester Thompsonlemonfreshpanda
He plays impeccably on Brian Eno's 'Another Green World'.
Terry Bozzio and Part Two (Frank Zappa) [He is the one with the bigger drumset]
RoyTheViking
Terry Bozzio is one of my favorite drummers too. I also like Marco Minnemann, Greg Bissonette, Joey Jordison, John Bonham...I did like Danny Carrey alot but when I met him he was a dick so **** him.
Everytime someone mentions that clown Joey Jordison I want to kill a puppy.Epak_

I say Cream is the greatest.Great selection on the first two. Now I LOVE Stevie Wonder, but didn't he only play on Songs in the Key of Life? And he got the job the done but he wasn't really that great. Keys and vocals are his niche really. As for me, I'd go with David Garibaldi - Tower of Power, Elvin Jones - John Coltrane Quartet, and Billy Cobham - Mahavishnu Orchestra.Name your three favourite drummers. Any genre, any band/ group.Put the name of the band too. It's always cool to see who people will choose. Mine are: Neil Peart- Rush, David Garibaldi- Tower of Power and Stevie Wonder (yes, he plays drums).

Bonham is one of the finest rhythm drummers of all time. I don't know how he's better or worse than Moon. I personally like Moon better because he's all over the place, yet he still stays with it and every hit he does has meaning. It's hard to explain without actually having someone listen to the music. Bonham is great too, I don't think he has incredible technical skill, but he knew what kind of band he was in and what kind of music he was playing, and he played it perfectly.Niel Pert - Rush (cause hes amazing)
Ringo Starr - The Beatles (Cause his time was just so damn great)
Chad Smith - Red Hot Chili Peppers (Cause their older stuff is FUNKY)I hope you know that Chad Smith wasn't even on The Red Hot Chili Peppers' first three albums. That's really their funkiest stuff, but Blood Sugar Sex Magik and Mother's Milk are pretty funky too. I like Chad Smith but he really is the least funky in the Chili Peppers.Niel Pert - Rush (cause hes amazing)
