I think you're one post away from at least a dozen "back in my day we didn't have Google or Wikipedia to do our homework..." tirades. Come on now. If you can type it in to this forum surely you can plug it into the appropriate search engine.

They held terrible secrets, one of which was that they were both flamingly homosexual, hence the term 'polishing the barrel'. They only conducted their gun-related practices in private however, for fear of persecution, for as a UK Navy spokesman recently stated: "Homosexuals can't swim. They attract enemy radar. They attract sharks. They insist on being placed at 'the captain's table'. They get up late. They nudge people whilst they're shooting. They muck about. Imagine, the fear of knowing you have a gay man on board a boat. When you retire at night you think to yourself: "God, will I wake up and find everybody dead?"
You can't run a ship like that."

Why yes , yes it is .I was thinking of putting up the whole you're a white ball of healing light or you're the same decaying matter as everyone else but then I figured all go for the Buddhist route and write that .

If you really did try and fail at acquiring information on Ulysses S. Grant and Robert E. Lee... on the internet, our democracy is doomed and anything they thought they were fighting for was a waste of time.

Let me spell this out for you. Before there was porn on the internet, there was crap on the Civil War.

The info is easy but the comparisons not so much . They were polar opposites when it came to military judgment . Hell Grant would rush his guys to the slaughter because he had the numbers to do so .

Ah, okay. Well there you go. There's one way in which they were different.

They were both Southern gentlemen, but Grant had his loyalties divided. How does that compare to Lee?

How'd they feel about the issues behind the war?

Who was ultimately the better general?

How were they regarded by their armies at various phases of the war?

What were their takes on the new weapons being employed that turned the whole thing into a meatgrinder that killed more Americans than all of our other conflicts combined?

I think you're confusing the word comparison with similarities. A comparison would be what's different AND what's the same.

If I were to compare the PS3 to the 360 I would say they both have optical drives, dual analog controllers, and hi-def video output but the PS3 has Blu-Ray and the 360 has... games.
