Spoiler Alert
In The Scene where Caesar screams "NOOO!!!!!!!". That to me was the most memorable scene of the movie. How did all of you react when it happened? I personally got goosebumps and the entire theatre was in jaw dropped silence lol

I was surprised.
I had no idea he was going to be able to talk.
I thought it was a spectacular movie, one of the best I've seen all summer.
Ya pretty much the whole theatre went silent as their jaws dropped to the floor. It was crazy and so un expected. Great and sad movie. Ending couldve been better, although there's really no other way to end it. Still one of the best movies i've watched in theatre in a while.
I remember a thread in OT talking about Rise of the Planet of the Apes and how it's stupid because there aren't enough apes to take on six billion humans, lawl.Hexagon_777well if there wasn't a virus wiping out the human race then yeah i still stand by its stupid that apes could take over the world but there is such a virus that kills humans so i can accept the movie world. But no virus, those monkeys would be wipe out.

We don't know anything else about it or what it can do to other species though i doubt the movie is going to explain it. But seriously if the virus didn't kill humans those smart apes would be wipe out .

In the origionals a virus kills all the cats and dogs, which spirs the adoption of apes as pet/slaves.

They were just talking about the differences between the virus in the old movies and the reboot. It was amazing how quickly the audience's reactions changed considering the moments leading up to that moment were fairly comedic. It was like someone sucked all the laughter out of the room with a vacuum cleaner. I have never heard a theatre so silent
I definitely didn't hear silence I heard alot of OMGs and uh-ohs.It was amazing how quickly the audience's reactions changed considering the moments leading up to that moment were fairly comedic. I thought it was one of the most awesome scenes I've seen in a movie in a long time. I was really surprised.
I swear Tom Felton is like Johnny from the Karate Kid.
Blonde hair bully all the way.
He shoulda SWEPT Caesar's leg.
Only saw the first 15 minutes due to unforseen circumstances but those were rather silly imho.
Brighteyes coincidently breaks free, accidently sabotages our main character and gets shot by security.
Result? Instead of firing the idiot who just killed a million dollar investment and potential cure for alzheimer, the project is shut down and the protagonist is almost fired....
But it was all a misunderstanding! The ape was being protective!

Ignoring the almost non existant chance of such a chain of events, the investors are cancelling the project without any investigation and disgregarding the fact that the incident is entirely disconnected to the heart of the project they're throwing money at.
Really? That makes no sense.
Hopefully, the rest of the movie is better than the beginning.
Great scene. At first, I kinda laughed the you dirty ape line since i figured they would put in the movie somewhere. But when Ceaser yelled NO, I really shut up. Its funny because in the original the apes are suprised a human can talk, while in the reboot the apes are suprised an ape can talk. Great tribute.
you know what the biggest plothole in the movie was for me? how they didn't know in the beginning that bright eyes was pregnant, you would think these scientists would know when the monkey they are giving experimental drugs to is pregnant or not.
They thought the drug made Bright Eyes angry.Only saw the first 15 minutes due to unforseen circumstances but those were rather silly imho.

Which is a really thin plot device.
That eing said, I made it back in time to witness the smartification of all the apes and the "NO!" scene. I'll admit that that was epic.
No more smartphone for me ;)
