To the OT Gods / Mods ?

Good day all Mod/Gods of OT, creaters if be.

Wondering, is GS ever planning to add a like feature to its posts in OT. At time i realize i want to hit like on most comments, but not to replay with a long answer. I'm sure others feel the same. You already have that feature on our personal postings. Wondering if you ever thought about the add on features in OT. And others might have have some suggestions also.

There are times I want this as well. It present the solution of someone saying something so well that you have nothing left to add, but my concern is that it limits discussion at the same time.

Yep. That's why in the past one word posts were modded. Like agreed. It didn't add to discussion.

Interesting, that is very true. I've had to push myself to comment where i've didn't plan on commenting before due to not leaving someone out. There's ways to look at this in a bad and good mode.

That sort of thing can discourage unpopular opinion and encourage posts written with likes in mind.

As far as I know no such thing is planned.

One could have a like button only. No dislike.

I have enough stress when my next Instagram post doesn't reach my like average, I don't need it here man *cries*

It's an idea though, although I think if the like serves as a virtual nod to a post then perhaps there isn't much point.

Personally I don't see the point. I see no need for it to be a like button on absolutely everything.

While I'm not a OT mod, I can say that it is something we have considered. It took us a while to get it for comments so it might take some time, but if it's something that people really want we can request it.

GameSpot should add Emoji's. I know Emoji's work but make it accessible.

@Gaming-Planet: Bringing back the emoticons was something we also asked for. Not sure if it's ever going to happen.
