Einstein, Newton, Bohr, Schrodinger, Hawking, Oppenheimer, Kaku, etc.

Then again, with the exception of Oppenheimer, I doubt any of these people actually designed an earthquake machine and said, with a few well-placed and well timed explosions, he could destroy the planet. The nuts in a bunch are usually ignored.
