Dear god I know what you're saying, when I was at the local fair the other day I had to stand in line behind a group of 10 year oldgirls who dressed like that and wore copious amounts of makeup. They kept remarking loudly how gay the rides were, and the whole time I was thinking "where are your parents?"

I personally think that this is a horrible disgusting trend.And I am pretty sure that when I was in jr. highschool that half the kids there were not virgins (even in the seventh grade year)...ugh.

I believe that makeup is disgusting because it obscures the girl's actual features with unnatural colors (WTF! PURPLE eyeliner whose stupid idea was that?) and that sex is something that should be reserved for a serious relationships and marriage.

ever seen the movie thirteen? That really happened to a girl and its a sad story because its happening to many more...I got into homeschool around the beginning of 7th grade but I bet at least 1 of the girls I knew turned into that...You don't see it often in girls under 12ish but I know it happens. It just a matter of time before you see a movie about a 5 year old girl who cuts herself. What can you do though? The best you can do is make sure that if you have any kids they don't turn into something like that and talk to your family...my cousin had a big fight with her boyfriend cuz his parents found porn on the computer and he told her he thought about other girls in the school when he looked at it (what a moron) anyways I talked with her for hours and I think I made a difference...and slightly turned into a girl at the same time. I think conversation is the one key that everyone seems to be missing these days...and texting doesn't count.

EDIT: also when parents say if you do this and that I will...it doesn't help. Kids want to do what they can't do and also yelling at kids who haven't done anything wrong doesn't help...I mean if they get yelled at for what they shouldn't do then there is no way to get out of being lectured about something.

could not agree more, parents can tell their kids not to do anything but peer pressure plays so much of a larger role in middle school and younger, even when i was in middle school i found myself in a few situations in which some questionable things happened and i just went along with the crowd because i wanted to be apart of it, sure it is shallow but who isnt at this age? sure kids need some of this because it is a part of growing up, but to see a 6th grader slut it up in the mall with her friendsis awful, and it is at this point where parents are to blame, why even let you kid out of your house in a pair of short shorts with "juicy" written on the ass and a tight top? parents need to start re-evaluating their roles, yeah you want your kids to be happy, but i for damn sure would rather have them mad and wearing age appropriate clothes, then pregnant at the age of 12
