Tom Cruise or Leonardo Di Caprio, whom you like OT? I'm a fan of Tom Cruise ( specially collateral ) but lately really enjoying Leonardo di Caprio's acting ( The Departed,Inception, Django Unchained ). So Leonardo Di Caprio +1 atm.

I gotta go Leo too. I have mixed feelings for Tom. Leo did a cool job in Django Unchained. He seems more diverse.
Leo is in better movies now, is a better actor now, and doesn't have a fetish for taller women like Cruise.
Personally, neither of them rank among my favourites (still good actors). If I had to choose who I like more I'd probably go with Leonardo Di Caprio though.
Cruise. DiCaprio has been on cruise control (no pun intended) for a while now. I just see him playing himself these days. That's not to say Cruise is delivering his best work; I roll my eyes at the work he's been putting out lately. But if I were to compare Cruise's best performance to Leo's, Cruise would easily come out on top.
they both get more hassle than they deserve for their early careers (and i'm sure cruise scientology thing didn't help him much in the public eye either), but i think dicaprio is the better actor. cruise does well in flamboyant roles, but dicaprio is among the best at depicting a man under a lot of pressure.
as for whose films i like better overall, cruise picks more films where the director won't overshadow him while dicaprio has less of a problem being a part of the vision of somebody else. that makes dicaprios filmography better overall, but cruise does still occasionally work well with others like in eyes wide shut (to cruise' credit, working with kubrick is practically the ultimate act of submitting oneself to the director).
I don't like Leo minus Titanic and Growing Pains. I've at least enjoyed most of the Tom Cruise movie's I've seen minus The Last Samurai.
Leo by far. The man is always in quality movies. Never been in a movie that sucked. He dosn't make like 100 movies a year just to get paid. He is all about quality not quantity. Even is movies that arnt my type like J Edgar...I find my self watching it just because of Leo and his amazing acting.
The Aviator, Catch Me If You Can, Blood Diamond, The Departed, Inception, Gangs of New York, Shutter Island, Django Unchained....I mean come on. His acting was amazing in all these movies. Hell What's Eating Gilbert Grape was also some amazing acting and he was just a kid. He made Johnny Depp look like a noob in acting.
Other then Collateral and The last samurai, I dont care for Tom's work tbh.
Top Gun was awesome brah.
Better actual acting? Leo. But that's besides the point. Cruise doesn't need to act because he's awesome.
Can't really choose
Caprio is ugly... but he acting was betterhippiesanta
Yeah, right. Caprio is ugly. I take it you haven't seen Titanic nor Romeo + Juliet nor catch me if you can. Hes above 40 now, you should've seen him in his 20's. One of the most beautiful actors EVER, including Tom Cruise.

Born 1974 = c0ming to 39 years oldim not even going to read any comments because people have a way of judging Tom because of his religious and political views which are NONE of our business..SO basing my opinion off his movies, interviews, and behind the scene in his life talks..I vote TOM because he is a movie legend.Good movies, great guy, family man,and speaks his mind with out worrying what others think..

Based purely on the level of movies each actor has been in, I can safely say DiCaprio is a better actor involved in better films. Tom Cruise hasn't really been in anything inventive or good in a while. Mission Impossible 4 was good, but it was still Mission Impossible. If he starts branching out into better films I can be swayed, but DiCaprio has shown his talents and versatility over the years while Tom has shown his complete lack thereof.
Both actor has their hightlights. I give a lot of credit to Tom Cruise for doing most of his stunt work(with no doubles) in his movies while Leo on the other hand has a more diverse roles in his movies. I think Leo is an better actor overall but he does sometimes act like the same person in all of his movies. I haven't seen a movie with Leo in a while which doesn't involve him screaming or yelling in the same way he does in most of his recent movies.
