Pan Labyrinth and Children of Men were 2 of the best films of last year

[QUOTE="kerrmich"]Flame me if you want, but I think Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and the Big Lebowski are overrated. I juts couldn't really get into them. All opinion I guess.tomxizor
I'll agree with you on Fear and Loathing...It may have had some fantastic lines, and some trippy scenes, but it gave me a headache watching it, and it was somewhat boring. Â
Battlw royale a flaws plot and unrealistic conflicts worst fgilm everhere is my list in no particular order
1. napoleon dynomite: everyone keeps saying that this movie is comic genius, i've seen it 3 times and i still have yet to laugh. i think the characters are annoying, the dialogue is bad, and that it's just a very boring movie
2. sin city: people like this movie because of the way it looks. and i do think it looks cool. but behind that this movie was all style no substance. if this film was in normal colors then we would see it for what it really is. 2 hours of childish gore.
3. reservior dogs. i hated this movie to no end. there was only one good thing to come out of it. and that was the demonstration that evil always destroys itself. but NOBODY got that out of it. all of the movies groupies just think it's cool because it's about 4 guys who say the F word in every sentence and bleed to death. i think this is a very poor movie. Â
Most overrated movie?
if anything its............
(nightmare before christmas poster)
it was good. but its not as amazing as everyone rants and raves about.

it was cool, i just hate how jack skelington has become the mascot of halloween. thanks hot topic. Â
as of late, Pans Labyrinth, Children of Men, and Ghost Rider.FR4NCH1SEHow was ghost rider overrated? did you read the reviews at all? Children of Men is not overrated, though. It's awesome.
Scarface: This was a B movie at best, but thanks to the help of dumbass rap culture it has achieved iconic status.
Star Wars: Easily the most overrated franchise ever. Never saw what was so great about the series, yet it has also achieved iconic status.
Pulp Fiction: Boring movie, plain and simple. It is a shining example of why Terintino is not a good director: He is so stuck on trying to make dialogue that he forgets to actually have action to move the story along well. I don't give a damn how many cool lines you can throw in if you can't keep the film movie along.

ghost rider wasn't bad, it was just too predictable. Â

that's another reason why i don't like him. and personally i think his dialogue isn't that great. Â

..........what couldnet you follow, the mixed up story line was done on purpose and it was original. i liked it, it was one of the best films ever made. the camera angles are also very well done.

Pulp ficition was amazing, plain and simple. This is why I hate these stupid "Overrated" threads. People bring down great movies

It wasn't that I couldn't follow it, it just sucked.Â
I hate when there isn't a good chunk of story in a movie, but at the same time I hate when a movie is all story. There needs to be more than dialogue, but Terintino seems to have not figured that out. The only Terrintino movies I actually like are the Kill Bill films, and those are the films with the least dialogue...
matrix reloaded, matrix revolutions, animatrix (only found 2-3 of the shorts enjoyable).Kook18
Hey, the animatrix was awesome!!!
I definitely agree on the other 2 movies, especially Revolutions. I actually thought Revolutions was HORRIBLE!!!
The 3rd Terminator was garbage...AtomicBaconBits
Actually, that chase scene made up for the rest of that movie. It was easily the best chase scene I have seen since Terminator 2.
