You forgot Norway, which is ranked number one in the world for best place to live. Population is small, stable economy, pretty wealthy, etc. Also the United States is a must as well.

Liberal =/= good (not saying that it's bad either).

Too much Chocolate makes you sick.

Being drunk can get you in trouble.

Tokyo, like most densely populated Asian cities, is kinda nasty.

I would think you might want to actually visit these countries for a short time first, rather than just make assumptions of how you wish they'll play out. Or you'll end up like Cartman when he became a Somalian pirate, it's not quite what he imagined it to be.

It's not racism, I'm not calling Asian people nasty.

I'm saying that Cities with a really dense population (which lots of them happen to be in Asian countries) tend to be not the greatest place when it comes to standard of living, and sanitary conditions.

Australia's censorship, tendency to get things like games WAY late, ridiculously dangerous wildlife, and areas of extremely harsh climate make it not to desirable for me. I do want to visit that underground city though....

1) Norway: Longer between people (im not a people person) I think it is THE richest country in the world if I remember correctly, voted most beautiful place on earth in National Geographic (When I say richest it is measured, in a mix of the money the state has, and how much money the average citizens has)

2) Denmark: Voted happyist place on earth, also the least religious (I wonder if there is a connection there), Also one of the richest countries in the world.

3) Belgium: A good culture, lots of old buildings (and even citys) Lots of good food, and drink, pretty much the Hub for EU

4) Canada: Also one of the most beautiful places on earth, and it is freakin huge, lots of places untouched by people.

5) New Zealand: might be mocked as a farmersisland, and its sheep... but its really nice, calm, and generally it feels good just to be there.

I base myopinions on the beauty of the place, + the money the country has to maintain itself, and help its citizens, Crime levels, and access to technoligy

Tokyo is alot cleaner than all of the other densely populated Asian cities.
The main problem they have is smog and overcrowdedness.

No particular order here: Norway: Often cited as being one of the best places in the world to live. Great health care and other government run programs, though the taxes are very high because of that. Very beautiful place, although if you are a really big fan of heat it's probably not the best place to live... Canada: Good healthcare, amazing scenery with lots of untouched wilderness, good education system and lots of different climates to choose from. The bad side I guess is that if you're moving to a major population center your choices are limited to near the US border since that's where pretty much everyone lives. US: Lots of great nature areas as well as some of the most interesting cities on earth. Health care and education system are decent but nowhere near as good as many European countries and Canada.

Japan: Nice looking nature areas and some really amazing cities. I think if you were were a really big fan of technology then Japan would be a good place to go to. If you like weird things you can find it in spades but if you prefer things nice and normal (as the west sees it at least) it has that too. England: Not really much to say. I think most people are very aware of it's negatives and positives but it seems like a great place to live imo. I would say Australia deserves a good mention too but I have a tendency to explore the wilderness areas too much and often come to close with the wildlife..Considering Australia has a huge amount of dangerous wild life I think it would be best I stay away from it. However it has some of the most unique wildlife on this planet so I am rather torn...

1: Norway - Lovely neighbours, been there many times. Beautiful nature, beautiful people, very progressive. 2: Denmark - The danes are statistically the happiest people on this planet, and you have to look hard to find any religion. Rich and pretty. 3: Sweden - Its just very similar to Denmark and Norway. Which means it rocks. And they have kaviar in tubes. 4: Finland - Pretty funky place, good music culture, generally, Finland oozes of culture. 5: Iceland, or...? The recession tore it a new one. =[

With my goals, it is anywhere that is experiencing very high economic growth and has low to no taxes, still is economically, socially, and politically developed in relative terms, and does not have any major human right problems or wars going on. I'm thinking along the lines of some of the developed Middle Eastern countries. I know some of them are very conservative, but I believe that is something I can live with.

My favorite countries to live in are the big ones with a chilly weather. Big to me means more freedom and cool chilly weather for most of the year for me means a pleasant climate. I don't really want to live in the hot desert countries like Lybia, Egypt, Yemen or Ethiopia no matter how big they are. I also don't really like the very small tropical countries like Singapore, Barbados or Cyprus for example.

The United States, Canada and Japan are my favorite countries in terms of natural beauty and green forests. Germany and Switzerland are also not bad in this regard however they are not nearly as big as the United States or Canada. However good food and nice friendly people are also important to me so my top 5 favorite countries to live in are probably:

1. United States

2. Canada

3. Switzerland

4. Germany

5. Israel

*6. If there was a number 6 I would probably add Japan which is pretty much like Switzerland in life quality.
